I recently visited KFC Stoke on Trent - Festival Heights and was thoroughly disappointed by the complete lack of care and respect shown towards the eating environment. My experience was marred by the sheer laziness of the staff and the evident neglect in maintaining cleanliness. Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the untidy state of the restaurant. Tables were strewn with remnants of previous meals, including dirty dishes, crumpled napkins, and sticky surfaces. It was clear that no effort had been made to clear or clean the tables, even though the restaurant was not particularly busy. The floors were equally appalling, littered with crumbs, spills, and even pieces of food that had been stepped on and left to dry. The trash bins were overflowing, contributing to an unpleasant odour that permeated the air. It was a stark contrast to the standards one would expect from any dining establishment. What exacerbated the situation was the attitude of the staff. They seemed entirely disinterested in their duties, often congregating in the back or chatting amongst themselves rather than attending to the customers or the cleanliness of the restaurant. On multiple occasions, I observed customers having to clean their own tables or request staff to do so, only to be met with eye rolls and half-hearted attempts. The bathrooms were no better, with unflushed toilets, wet floors, and empty soap dispensers. It was evident that regular checks and cleanings were not a priority for the staff. Overall, my experience at KFC Stoke on Trent - Festival Heights was extremely disappointing. The lack of care and respect for the eating environment due to the lazy and inattentive staff left a lasting negative impression. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a pleasant and hygienic dining experience. Update 25th June 2024: I have responded to their request via the link provided. Updated 26th June 2024: I have received a £10 voucher and have been assured that the cleanliness of the establishment will be addressed. However, upon reviewing feedback from the past several months, I am sceptical of this commitment, as numerous reviews have consistently highlighted the deplorable condition of this location. My overall impression of KFC's customer care can be summarised as, "Here's a tenner, move along."

KFC is rapidly going downhill in quality and quantity but uphill in cost! My family paid £63 for what would cost £37 last year. Ordered salad box which used to be in a solid cardboard box with tender chicken and a rich colourful salad to receive a dry sliced piece of fillet chicken on some lettuce and paid over £8.50 for the meal!! Box burger had a small of chicken with no much content. Boxed meals are thrown in bags with no boxes. They forgot items as usual. Chips thrown in large bags and was outside its small bags. What a mess and 0 presentation. All quantities are significantly smaller including the corn. Shocking and disappointing. I feel I have been robbed. I decided today that I will NEVER go to KFC again. No wonder it was very quiet. It wasn't worth even a third of the cost! Save your money and go to your local takeaway or McDonald's instead however they have less halal options

Dear team, I ordered on offer Double Down buy one get one free on 6th Nov 2020 20:58 n 21:19. I ordered 2 double down, 2 hot wings? should be in the bag, 4 double down, 2 hot wings?!?!? order: 254A1 order: 3CDB2 However, I only received no promotion, even missing items for my order 1st time. In the bag, 1 double down, 2 hot wings? Then I ordered the 2nd time, and there were no missing items but no promotion at all? In the bag, 2 double down, 2 hot wings? I called the store multiple times but no answer. This is a very unpleasant experience from this store so far by not checking order properly before sending out. I already gave it a 2nd chance, still doing wrong. I completely gave up!!! Can you please help and sort this out asap? I am looking forward to hearing from you soon! Kind regards,

Poor experience here. Place ran out of Zinger burgers apparently, also apparently ran out of ketchup. They even tried to tell us that they ran out of mash potato but i caught them red handed when another employee opened a drawer and I saw plenty. They had to reverse their claim of running out of mashed potato. They are straight up lieing to customers.

Tables and chairs were filthy and not cleaned. We had to clean up the tables ourselves with our own wipes. Bins were overflowing and stank, it was nasty.

Online on Google the restaurant closes at midnight, we showed up at 9:50 to eat in, ordered and started eating. Then 5 mins into our meal we were told the restaurant closes at 10pm. We were rushed to finish as staff looked really annoyed with us, shaking their heads and being rude.

Usually a restaurant would tell you that they were closing soon before customers order their food or even as they walk in to the restaurant but this did not happen. Staff were very rude about it.

We had small children with us who just wanted to eat and enjoy a family meal after a busy day at Alton Towers. Such a horrible experience.

We had 5 members of staff approach separately to have a go at us at 10:05 saying we had to leave. Their excuses were that they are not insured to have customers after 10pm.

We all know they just wanted to go home, didn't want to cook Zinger burgers and force us to eat the food that was already prepared so it didn't go to waste. Disgusting...

First thing, I am being kind by giving a 2. First we walk in, table is messy, and the bloody self service thing won't let me pay by chip and pin, only contactless...hello not everyone has contactless. Then we go to the till to order and the staff seem very uninterested, and it takes a while to understand the order. Once ordered, we receive drink first and the krushem is half empty and tastes like water. We waited patiently at till for 5 mins, no food...we sit down for 10, no food. Food finally arrives...ps not worth the wait. Chips cold and undercooked, chicken was ok bit dry, Pepsi was like water. We over hear staff being told off, very professional (member of team calls 3 workers out for being over on their break, baring in the mind we are a meter away...also another guy shouts from till, "are you coming back yet?". Just seems like no one understand common respect. Then we realise we are missing chips, I go and talk to staff and they are already aware...if you are aware, why did you serve it without informing us. Also staff standing there fanning themselves with paper. We get a complementary portion of popcorn chicken off a lady who is kind enough but unfortunately it's disgusting. But overall a bad experience....
