New kitchens just opened terrible state food everywhere hetic took 20mins get food waiting in ques service appalling took someone in que tell me orders are done in separate line no communication between staff. morrisons is now ruined by unexperienced staff with no basic food hygiene i saw a staff with piercing yes covered up but producing food is a no go also no gloves which staff should wear when cooking food or handling food.just awful food bog standard. Prices using North staffs oatcake selling pack 6 £1.15 you can pay 90p from store and you'd expect be made on site from fresh no social distance. Poor service. poor management run. no basic food hygiene no spillage clean up with beans and tomatoes not separated from cooked meat as you should if you want provide a service for everyone would not recommend if you want a 5 star service and a safe place to get food from.

Lovely bright store. Good produce. Clear pricing. A good variety of items. I was impressed with the idea of the food bank grab bags. Morrisons have a list of what the local food bank needs and have the items in bags close to the till with varying prices on it . For example I got a cereal costing under 80p and a bag containing 3 long life milk. The bags are paid for with your normal shopping and then placed on the Food Bank special shelves by the exit. I would prefer that people didn't need to use foodbanks ( improved benefits or a decent wage) but thisa good way to help in the current circumstances. Nice one Morrisons

Morrisons is value for money! I enjoy shopping here in my opinion the quality of the meat, fish and vegetables are far better than any other supermarkets. I like the way the shop it’s arranged their products and the diversity of the products. You can buy specific items to suit every one’s taste. As I cook a lot of different food and experiment with different spices Morrisons suits my needs. Staff is always friendly, polite, nice and happy to help. Also Morrisons cut down on plastic in the past few years which means a lot to me. There is still a long way to go but I believe that they can do it.

This has always been a great place to buy your groceries. Now that they have refurbished the place it is even greater. Both metaphorically and literally.

12.05.2023: reduced two stars. One star for not being able to keep correct pricing. It is not a one time occurrence. Also they keep running out of plastic bags, which makes it difficult when you are doing big shopping and you forgot your bags at home. These are from plentiful of previous events, which I am able to document if I go through the numerous photos in my photo roll.

The second star removal was for an experience that happened today. I was ordering a pizza from the Market Kitchen, and brought with me two bottles of pop that was on sale for 2.50 for two. 6+2.50 is 8.50, but the guy behind the till wanted to charge me 9.58 for the whole order. Again a mismatch in price to Morrisons benefit. I pointed out the fact, and the guy just said that is how the items came through the till. I just told to cancel the order and left. I double checked the price on the display, and I was right. I did also verify that I didn’t pick any illegible items, and I did not.

I think the current star rating reflects well the fact that I tend to now shop more at Tesco than Morrisons, and Morrisons keep enforcing that feeling of dissatisfaction, at the same time that Tesco never has had any wrong prices. I used to be a proud Morrisons shopper, but now I am just having negative feelings every...

I understand that there are certain safety restrictions in place in the current climate to keep people safe and I respect and understand the reason behind there implementation. However the abusive and uncalled for behaviour from a member of the Morrisons staff here this morning was disgusting. After parking up myself and flatmates approached the appropriate one-way entrance of the store where we noticed a gap in where the barrier had been pulled down. As there was no queue and it was raining we opted to step over this barrier to gain entry to the store. No sooner had we done this the young lady counting the customers in be out of the store ran up to us to refuse us entry to the store. She then proceeded to accuse us of breaking the barrier and demand we left where we had stepped over and walk all the way around the barrier to gain access to the store, by this point a queue had started form. We explained the situation but she proceeded to call us liars and refused us entry in some misguided attempt I can only assume to embarrass us infront of the small crowd of people that had formed whilst still standing in the rain. In the end we left without entering the store unwilling to give our business and satisfaction to this woman after the uncalled for behaviour. I understand people maybe highly strung and the moment but this young lady, who I can only assume is called Karen, may need a refresher in her manners and how she speaks...

Not a good place to buy alcohol or cigarettes as the manager is as clueless as the staff when it comes to asking people for ID. I went in for 2 bottles of bailey's that I had to wait 10 mins for while a polite young man got them out the back for me, I get to the self checkout and the woman asked if my partner had ID when I'm the one buying the alcohol, I'm the one buying it because my partner forgot her ID, so I told the staff "it is me that's buying it" because my partner has forgot her ID. The staff member told me "you both have to have ID as I think she is under 25" I replied" "I am 28 and you can look at my ID and you don't have to be 25 to buy it, 18 is the legal age so if I am 28 and this is my partner she isn't going to be under 18 is she?" they ignored the question as I am now speaking with the manager as well, so I told them "so I'm 28 and I telling you this is my partner that I've been with for 7 years and you think she is underage your trying to call me a nonce?" the manager said "I'm not implying that at all" so I asked what she is implying by this situation as your still refusing to sell me alcohol and she ignore. So I stated "if I was to come in here with my daughter and buy the same thing your going to ask my 10 year old daughter for ID? She said no. So I replied" what's the difference?" and she just said that we both have to have ID.... Just stupid and rude. I won't ever go back there other than to file...
