Experience varies greatly with how people perceive a different events here so for context I attended an evening event where doors opened at 6 pm in December, so you can tell whether this will be a similar experience for you Getting to the venue , you can easily access via a taxi or an Uber or you can take the tram to Trafford bar and then walk the 10 to 15 minutes over to the O2 Victoria Once you get there, you do need to queue outside and you’re guided through lanes like you’re inside the airport trying to get to security where they bob and weave you through to make the walk seem ridiculously long in anything but a straight line. No, if you were in flats and boots this is absolutely no problem, but if you’re a female with heels and if you go the extra mile with open toed sandals, then you aren’t going to struggle puddle dodging through what feels like a dirty building site and pens. However, if you’re insensible footwear then this really isn’t a problem. Once you get through this queueing system, you then end up with a makeshift tent outside the doors where you step through a metal detector and you’ll have a quick body scan which requires you to remove anything electrical that would set the scanner off Now, personally, I didn’t get any kind of body search here and it was pretty obvious. People were smuggling in booze, and they were trying to check bags in order to prevent this. Once you step inside the warehouse, there is a cloakroom over on the left-hand side which had 0Q, and honestly I didn’t see many people actually use this service, and for those that did they were attended to very quickly For those people who are downstairs, there are huge bars so you will need to queue. However, they did seem to be going pretty quickly and there are enormous bathrooms with the men’s on the right hand side of the entrance and the women’s on the opposite side, both of which are decent size to cater for such a large venue . The stage is on the opposite side of the building to the entrance, and it’s gonna nice large area which is standing only in front of it Because it’s a really big warehouse and the layout it is freezing cold in December when it’s close to 0 outside so a lot of people did spend the entire evening with their coats on and if you’re not great at being on your feet full on period time this place is not ideal because there is nowhere for you to sit down If you do go for the VIP service there are set of stairs that lead you upstairs. This is located past the gents bathroom pasta bar and then you’ll get to accept stairs lead you upstairs where you’ll see a large bar on one side and then a balcony that looks out to the stage on the opposite side of the bar at the end opposite where you come up. There are dedicated Bathrooms for females and females, so you never have to queue for the bathroom You think with a dedicated bar that the service would be pretty quick however, I did end up waiting for at least 3 to 4 minutes for two or three other people to be served before me every time I went to the bar in VIP Considering downstairs has a queueing system, I would say the wait time is probably comparable even though it looks like there are more people at the bar downstairs. There are a lot more staff serving so I would guess that the week times were similar as no one was struggling to get served at the bars downstairs. So essentially, if you’re wondering what you get for VIP, you have a dedicated bathroom and a dedicated bar and a large upstairs area that’s pretty breezy with a very strong air-conditioning unit in an already very cold room in the winter time No, I do admit as a female, we do always tend to complain about the cold and it just so happened at the time of year that I went, but it was an issue. However this isn’t the case I know people who’ve been plenty of other times and went to the same event last year and came back again, and they struggled with the opposite problem that it was actually too hot. Only leaving the venue at 11 pm. The road was closed so you do have to walk at least 10 minutes to get a taxi.

Venue for music, staff great friendly and pleasant. Venue was clean looking and the sound was good for the show. Downside was access area provided no elevation to see over others, as a seated guest it became difficult to see once people in wheelchairs took space at the front and as a result blocked any view of the stage, I'm 6.3 tall and struggled to see the stage, what made this worse was the lack of common sense from some of the staff, leaving an area to the side of the access area free and empty for over 2 hrs, eventually had to ask to be moved and managed to move some time later so did work out. Seats for the access area very uncomfortable, while venue is mostly standing, for those who can't do this all night, some thought should go into this, I would be happy to pay extra for comfort and a fair view, it would also be of benefit to use space available on first come first served basis and make companions who can stand (stand) and to the side or rear. A good bonus was a bar service provided to all in disabled access that was a good touch, and a small rest area to one side with better more comfortable seats, please note the rest area is away from view of the stage. At the back TV monitors could be seen with live view of the stage, I assume this was done for busier times. Overall a good place to see live bands despite the comfort and view issues. Parking for the venue doesn't exist, some space on the street but informed you may get a parking ticket, private parking areas are available but expensive and some distance away, blue badge holder's don't have anything near so plan your journey. Enjoyed the paganfest so thanks 02 victoria warehouse

I attended the Beartooth gig here on 24/10/24 and just had to write a review about my experience as I was so impressed. I have disabilities and walk with a stick, and so I requested access to a seat prior to this event. Booking access was easily done via email, and I received a reminder email with my entry instructions the day before the event. On arrival I was shown easily to the access entrance and met by Cai on the door, who scanned my ticket and gave me and my friend our access wristbands. He showed us to the lift, took us upstairs and walked us through to the accessible seating area on the balcony. The gig wasn't sold out and the balcony wasn't in use aside from for access customers, so we had the choice of where to sit and got right by the barrier with a great view. Staff came and took our drinks orders from our seats and brought drinks up from the downstairs bar, and even the merch table staff came up to see if we wanted to purchase anything. I was so impressed. The toilets in the upstairs area were huge and very clean. There was always someone on hand to see if we needed anything, and staff came round multiple times to refresh drinks and check on us. Cai came and met us at the lift after the gig, led us out and made sure we knew where we were going. It was honestly the best access I have ever experienced at a gig and it was so refreshing to not feel like an afterthought as a disabled person. Amazing, I hope every venue can take a leaf from O2 Victoria Warehouse's book.

Visited the Victoria Warehouse on the 17th June to see Kaleo. As not being from Manchester we got the tram and when we got off, there is literally no signage for you to follow which is just stupid considering the venue is next to Old Trafford. We stumbled across the box office to pick up our guest list tickets. The box office isnt near the venue entrance, just a shabby hut tended by a pleasant lady. Again no signage to get here. Back onto the main road and you find the entrance to the Victoria warehouse. Regrettably we got there earlyish about 7.30pm, filled up fast and there were two unadvertised warmup bands. They were not very good. Kaleo didnt come on until about 9.40pm, which is toooooo late.Avoid the hot dogs the guy serving the was demolishing red wine, was sweaty, and kept brushing his hair back with his food serving hand, then picking the bun up then the hot dog, then sprinkling crispy onions on all with his sweat soaked hand. Mmmmm Tasty. The venue was crowded, with no air con so by 9 oclock everyone was sweaty. Dont bother going on the side where the in venue bar is, such a stupid place to put one, you just get squished and people spill their drinks over you. Security was plentiful inside and out. The toilets were great lots of cubicles not many queues especially if you go upstairs. Ive been to other o2 academies which do it better.

BE AWARE OF PARKING SCAM (read below) 2.5 stars as overall experience. The good: - easy to find - good size - acceptable sound quality - good selections in bar - clock room Bad: - Parking. It's now hard to check and suggest car parks around which are safe and good to use rather than saying that they don't have any and direct people to generic website. Aldo they should know about parking scam and warn visitors especially from outside Manchester. It seems to be well known. Also Police is not doing anything! So please be aware and don't follow "official" signes to event carpark. Don't pay anyone. Just find your own place. - there was priority queue for o2 and Virgin customers? Why? Was it necessary? No! Noone said that and no information available on website. - support started before people managed even to get it - security team seems to not bother too much - ventilation could be more efficient - narrow exit doors - security was kicking people out so quickly that J couldn't' even the use toilet, someone banged toilet door when I was still using it. Band "Last Dinner Party" was absolutely great!!!!

Floor in to venue is uneven so be careful. Priority que for tickets bought with 02 priority. Plenty of bars but expensive! There was hot food served inside near the entrance. Plenty of toilets that were clean. Disabled toilets facing female toilets. I think there was only 2 seats to sit down so no where really to rest. Quite spacious. And felt very airy. Went to see Joel Corry. Doors opened 9 pm, he came on at midnight. Curfew was 2pm. Small bag allowed in to venue. With bag check. There is a phone charging point next to the bar near the toilets. Phone signal and Internet great inside venue. They close the Road to the venue. No proper taxi rank outside and is a bit puzzling. Some taxis were allowed through, some not. The venue should sort this out so people can get home without concern. There's nowhere really nearby to have predrinks. In-betwaeen 2 tram stops Wharfside and exchange Quay, about 5 mins walk or so from each. About £10 max in a taxi from City Centre right nearby to Old Trafford.
