Unfortunately every time I have entered this store , since it opened a few months ago, was an unpleasant experience. The employees that work in there are always grouped together , just talking or playing on their phones , with zero knowledge of what products they sell. I witnessed two of the assistants cleaning the medic 8 stand and knocking products on the floor and product leaking and then cleaning the products up and putting them back on the shelves . The only lady who was any use in there , was the woman who stands near the hair dryers , that was great in explaining the great features of the shark hair dryers . The majority of the employees in there , are lazy , with no customer service experience and their job is to just chat to eachother and play on their phones . Also to top it off , the security guards are more interested in which door that you walk through , rather than watching out for potential theft. I wouldn’t recommend this store and it is over hyped. I love Sephora online and I will stick to online . If you’re in the Trafford centre stick to the make up and beauty counters in Selfridges because they have great customer service and the employees there , are friendly , helpful and able to give you great knowledge on their products . I will never go in this store again . I don’t usually write such a bad review about customer service in a retailer shop but unfortunately every experience has been an unpleasant one , with most of your lazy...
Read moreAs most mixed race girls will know, finding the right shade match with foundation and concealer can be very hard and a lot of the time you can be mismatched, walking away with a foundation that is either to orange too warm too pink or too yellow but for the first time in a long time, I walked away with what looked like the perfect shade match for me and my skin. This was all thanks to a young man called Josh. He spent so much time with me listening to my concerns about my combination skin how foundation can look patchy on my dry areas but then slip and slide in the areas that go oily overtime and when I explained that I needed a foundation for my wedding, he helped me find the perfect match. He took the time to try not one but three different brands of foundation and not only that he took the time to swatch multiple different shades until we found one that evened out my skin tone and matched my neck, didn’t make me look yellow and didn’t make me look orange. He was so patient and I felt comfortable enough to say if there was something that I didn’t like about a product. There is no pressure, just understanding and a clear want to help. Thank you, Josh for helping me find my wedding...
Read moreSkincare can be tricky to navigate with so many brands and endless options. I want to say a massive thank you to Abi in skincare at Sephora in the Trafford Centre—she completely transformed what could have been an overwhelming experience into something enjoyable, easy, and truly personal. My daughter and I visited looking for new skincare, and Abi’s knowledge was outstanding. She explained the pros and cons of different brands, matched products to our individual skin types, and gave clear, honest advice without any pressure. It was refreshing to speak to someone who not only understood the products but also took the time to tailor her advice specifically to us.
It’s been over a week since our visit, and I deliberately waited so I could speak about the results. It's early days but I’m thrilled to say my skin is already improving daily, and my daughter has found gentle yet effective products that are perfect for starting her skincare journey. Abby’s expertise and friendly approach made all the difference, and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending calling in and asking for her advice if you’re unsure...
