Misleading advertisement on portion. Extremely disappointing even with low expectations. Please reevaluate your quality control.

‼️ Tell me why I spent money after a long shift just to waste it on a few pity pieces of their food?

You can see they’ve only bothered to give me 4 tiny pieces of sweet and sour chicken which tasted more like “vinegar chicken” than sweet and sour. The amount is no where near what they sell you. Just compare my picture to their own: it’s night and day difference.

The 3 other salt and pepper chicken pieces were so bad that you cannot even call it salt and pepper, it’s just soy sauce.

The pumpkin Katsu curry is straight out of a horror film, pumpkin tasted “artificial”, why call it a katsu when it’s soft like clay??? curry is so under flavoured it tasted super WATER DOWN curry. I want to cry. 😂

Need I say more about their “K-pop in your mouth” chicken on the side. I have no word but two: party ruined. It’s that bad. (Suggestion: please name it something else, don’t drag K-pop down like this 😂😅)

I’m sorry to say this because I am not a picky eater at all and hate wasting food or leaving bad reviews as I also work in the food industry myself. But this is simply APPALLING. From the portion control to the quality of food. Never again. For reference, I waited nearly 2 hours to get my food too 😂 on a MONDAY post rush hour. 😂😂 I’m starting to think this is a prank done by staffs who are “hate-working” there.

This is the first time I have been to chopstix noodle bar and it was amazing. I was served by Subhan. He was so friendly & professional, he answered all of my questions (even the daft/random ones). I was at the Trafford Centre with my family (husband, son 20 & daughter 13) who chose to eat at Burger King but I saw Chopstix next door which looked so much nicer and after speaking to Subhan my mind was made up. I ordered the 4xl box (sweet & sour/firecracker/salt & pepper/bbq chicken)1/2 rice 1/2 noodles, a drink with sides (veg spring rolls/chicken balls) and some prawn crackers as I knew I would be sharing, also as it was near closing Subhan kindly mixed my sides so I got to try more which I thought was great. As soon as we sat down to eat I felt my families eyes on my food. I made sure I got one piece of chicken of each of the 4 dishes and tried the rice & noodles then it was a free for all. We all agreed my meal was delicious and everyone preferred my food. My meal may have cost a little more compared to a BK meal but for the amount I got, which was far too much food just for me alone, it was absolutely worth it. Leftovers were brought home and shared between my hubby & son. All in all, I received excellent service, had a new delicious food experience and didn’t end up with a greasy burger. 10/10 for Subhan, my family & I will definitely return to the Trafford Centre Chopstix.
