The Trafford Centre in Manchester stands as a shopping mecca, and it's easy to see why it's the third biggest shopping mall in the UK and the largest in the entire Northwest. With an array of incredible features, this shopping destination has truly left an indelible mark on the retail scene. What immediately strikes you is the remarkable selection of dining options. The food court is nothing short of a culinary delight, offering a diverse range of cuisine to satisfy every palate. In addition to the food court, there are numerous restaurants, bars, and pubs where you can unwind and recharge during your shopping adventure. Speaking of shopping, the Trafford Centre is an absolute haven for enthusiasts. The sheer number of stores and boutiques ensures that you'll find something to cater to your every need. Whether you're on the hunt for the latest fashion trends, homeware, or gadgets, you're bound to discover it among the plethora of big international brands like Zara and John Lewis. However, it's worth noting that parking can be a bit of a challenge, especially on weekends. This is the only minor hiccup in an otherwise fantastic shopping experience. Perhaps the Trafford Centre management could explore options to alleviate this parking strain for visitors. My primary suggestion to the Trafford Centre management, though, would be to improve public transportation access to this shopping paradise. It's frustrating that such a grand retail destination is almost impossible to reach without a car. Given its convenient location along the motorway in Manchester, enhancing public transportation options could make this center even more accessible and reduce traffic congestion. All in all, the Trafford Centre's extensive shopping choices, incredible dining options, and the presence of renowned international brands make it a shopping haven that's not to be missed. While parking can be a bit tricky, this minor inconvenience is far outweighed by the exceptional shopping and dining experience you'll find here. If you have your own car, it's a must-visit destination for shopaholics and food lovers alike in the Northwest of the UK.

More than just a shopping centre, this place is a whole experience! I've been here several times and always found it an enjoyable, if often hectic, day out. I love the flamboyant architecture with its ceiling frescoes, classical statues, spectacular water features, profusion of palms, and an ornate glass lift beneath the dome. There are three large stores - John Lewis, Selfridge's and a new M&S in the former Debenhams - along with many big high street names such as H&M, Next, Boots, Waterstones and New Look, and lots of smaller high-end fashion boutiques, jewellers, perfumeries and homeware shops. There's something to suit all tastes and pockets. I've always found the malls spotlessly clean and tidy, and they're also very accessible, with lifts and escalators between the two levels. There are cookie and ice-cream stands, juice bars, plenty of seating, and well-kept toilets throughout the centre. The spacious food court, resembling the deck of a cruise ship (with a "sky" that changes colour throughout the day), is surrounded by a wide variety of fast food outlets, and there are good restaurants and eateries of all nationalities, from Thai and Mexican to Italian, Greek and American, in imaginative themed zones. I try a different one for lunch each time I visit. There's a cinema, bowling alley, amusement arcade, sealife centre and Lego exhibition. Loads of free car parking, with disabled spaces and EV charge points, and a Metrolink tram service between the TC and Manchester, with trams every 12 minutes. There's enough shopping, dining and entertainment here to fill several days. I love this place and will keep coming back!

We visited Manchester recently and as part of our visit, we booked a morning at the Sea Life Centre. When we got there we were astounded by the beauty of the whole building and were so glad we booked the Sea Life Centre or we may not have visited at all. The whole building is extremely well maintained. Inside it is spotlessly clean, the statues are stunning, the water feature in the middle is beautiful and the painted ceilings bring it all together. Even the toilets were modern, clean and well maintained. The hand washing area had a whole system just above the sinks, where you pressed for soap, then pressed for water and then pressed to dry your hands, all in one place. It made it much more hygienic and efficient. Inside there are a number of shops including a huge Primark, as well as homeward stores and other clothing stores. There are also activities including the Sea Life Centre, but also including a new Nerf adventure experience and shop, and a mini LEGO experience and shop too. If you lived in this area and had young children, I would expect they would have visited for at least one friends birthday party here, as they are advertised, and I think they would be popular. The car park is very large, we arrived just as it opened at 10am and it was fairly empty but when we left nearly 2 hours later it was very busy, but still many car parking spaces left. The parking is free too, which makes it even more convenient to visit. The Trafford Centre itself is easy to get to and close to the city centre.

Absolutely horrible service from front staff. I was third in the queue with my husband, staff at entrance waved hand from far to first three in the queue to follow her, showed us the table to sit, no eye contact, no smile, no greetings at all. It was like help your self. Later on I went to the counter to place the order. I felt absolutely disgusting while I was placing it. Staff at counter was worse than a robot, tone of her voice was very cold,no greetings, no smile, no please, no thanks, despite me saying please and thanks with every response, didn't repeat order either. Nandos seriously need to work on its staff customer service skills set. The staff member who brought the food was a little better in terms of how to interact with customers. There was another staff member in the area asking customer about food but again lacks the basic skills set. It feels like staff is ban to smile. Some of food items were cold and some were perfectly hot, liked the new wrap, surprisingly frizzy drink was the best part despite there was no ice available. I rarely take fizzy drink but the quality of formula and balance of mixture was perfect. New sauce counter wasn't working, poor staff member kept fixing it again and again though. It's a busy place and Nandos struggles to maintain it. I was happy to see they removed the dirty screens following my last review.

I visited Selfridges last Sunday where I met the ever lovely Evie who asked me how was my experience shopping in the store. Well, I was pleased she asked as staff there are lovely and I told Evie that. I asked Evie if she can put me to speak to someone for some advice from their skin care shop. Evie was very pleasant and introduced me to Marcia who was very knowledgeable about each skin care product. Marcia went above and beyond and helped my 16 years old daughter with her eczema irritated skin. I have to admit I have never come across anybody like Marcia before! She was very kind, nurturing, caring and gave her 100% attention to help my young daughter. Marcia was even texting us to make sure everything is OK with my daughter's skin. The amazing news is that my daughter's face is healing and the skin has definitely revitalising as my dayghter is using the products on daily basis! Wow, Marcia ...you are an absolute angel and I am very grateful for your time and help! Selfridges are definitely lucky to have you. I highly recommend asking for Marcia for any skin care issue! You can see the products we bought based on the ever fabulous Marcia's advice and recommendation. They definitely work. 💓

I haven't visited the Trafford Centre for over 10 years mainly because I don't drive and the bus from our house stopped running to it! Travelling by Tram is so easy, I will definitely return! Good to see it's still thriving! I usually visit the city centre but decided to revisit with my daughter as shops she likes cannot be found in Manchester - Stadivarius, Pull&Bear, Sephora etc... Selfridges is also a must when visiting - much more choice than Manchester and with a food hall. The food court is still good and includes a large variety of food outlets - something for everyone. We opted for Zizzi's and had an enjoyable meal and ended our trip with a few drinks at 'Oh You Pretty Things'. The only reason I didn't award five stars is because of the toilets. Every set of toilets we visited had multiple cubicles out of use (Therefore, longer queues), some had no toilet paper and/ or were blocked. Needs more attendants to maintain a higher standard.
