What a nightmare. Food came out quickly and our kids meal looked yummy however when own main came out (a £50 seafood sharing platter) we were instantly disappointed as the portion size was just a large plate for one, we received one tentacle of octopus and 5 prawns (along with the chips, hummus, chips etc) which for £50 is a bit of a joke. Anyway we got past this and started to tuck in when we found the prawns hadn't been cleaned and still had the poo tracks. We called over a waiter who grabbed someone from the kitchen to come take a look, his response "that's how the head chef does it". Im not talking about small black lines, these are big prawns and the sh*t literally spread all over the prawn when we tried to clean up ourselves. We moved on after spending time cleaning and wiping our £50 prawns with napkins. Our 3 year old leaned over our platter to grab a chip and was then burnt by the kebab stick which when tested was scolding hot and no one had warned us, we moved on again as we aren't complainers and already complained once. Half way through our meal we still hadn't received our drinks. We reminded them in which they apologised and bought myself and my husbands drinks, some time later we had to remind them AGAIN for them to bring my daughters drink. At this point a waiter who I imagine was a manager or shift manager apologised a few times after hearing about all this mess and gave us the meal for free, he was lovely and completely empathetic to the situation, we were out for a birthday meal and honestly it was horrific in quality in food and service (apart from the nice guy who sorted us out). Won't go again unfortunately and would advise anyone I know...

For a couple who have a toddler, getting parent time is a rare occasion with work & toddler commitments, this evening has been a bit of a bitter dining experience.
We firstly obliged with the 30 minutes wait time and made a booking upon being told, so we went for a mooch around. Came back and ordered 2 cosmopolitans which sat on the bar for 5 minutes minimum whilst staff (young staff) stood around and chatted.
After receiving our drinks we ordered our food, which in all honesty was pretty good, the lamb wrap was really nice.
So that side of the experience was good.
However when asking for our bill, I asked the waitress if I can get staff centre discount, to which she just said yes, and then disappeared… only to show up at the back of the restaurant and have her break, clearly no hand over to management or another budding staff member.
After waiting 10 minutes to get any staff to notice (with clear and obvious head movement, looking at staff directly), I decided to walk up to the Barman, who was a nice guy with a cracking beard to see if he can get someone to help. (He did whilst pausing his bar close down, which having worked behind a bar myself, is annoying at best).
To which we finally were able to pay with a young gent in a checked shirt (young).
Overall, a poor evening by standards (I respect it’s only just opened, but maybe take a leaf out of Bournemouths branch, which left us wanting more, and we were thrilled to see one open up in the Trafford centre, only to be let down)
Sorry, not normally one for bad reviews, but criticism is needed...

We had such a great time at The Real Greek in the Trafford Centre, and a big part of that was thanks to Sal from Somalia! He was so kind, friendly, and genuinely welcoming throughout our visit.
When we accidentally broke a glass, he was there in seconds — calm, professional, and smiling the whole time. You could tell he really cares about keeping guests comfortable. He even surprised us with some delicious desserts afterwards, which made the whole experience even better.
It’s people like Sal who make dining out special — he’s an absolute credit to the team. Thank you, Sal, for your amazing service and kindness!
I had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Real Greek in the Trafford Centre, and it was all thanks to Aga! From the moment we sat down, her friendly smile and warm energy made us feel genuinely welcome. She was attentive without being intrusive, knew the menu inside out, and gave great recommendations — especially on the meze options and desserts.
Aga went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, checking in just at the right moments and making sure our table had everything we needed. It’s rare these days to meet someone who truly cares about creating a great dining experience, but Aga does exactly that with a natural, personal touch.
The food was fresh and delicious (the souvlaki was spot-on!), but Aga’s kindness and professionalism really made the visit memorable. If you’re visiting The Real Greek at the Trafford Centre, ask for Aga — she’ll make your evening 10...
