After I paid 5 pounds and got changed and showered, I was told that the pool was not open for general swimming until 12 and that only two lanes were open, the lifeguard made it sound like I could not swim in the lanes and suggested I use the brine pool. I was confused to I went to use the brine pool which was so full and was basically a hot salty bath that you cannot swim in without bumping into people. I was then told by the lifeguard there that I could not use the sauna because you have to pay extra. When I got changed and left the receptionist was so rude when I explained I was confused by the lanes swimming she was refusing to give me my money back and said I was confusing her. The other receptionist looked at me so disgusted and gave me money back. I understand as it is my first time at the pool but I felt really unwelcome here, the lifeguard did not suggest I could even use the lanes. It is overcrowded and I wont be back here again, its a huge pool so makes no sense why only two lanes would be open and if there are people in them there is no...

Both pools have a spectators section for parents etc who aren't actually swimming. Gym whichover looks the pool and has its own lockers/toilets/changing rooms/showers. Steam room located by the brine pool. Vending machines. They also sell arm bands etc incase you forget anything. Lockers take £1 which u get back. Nearest parking is Morrisons unless you're lucky enough to grab 1 of the 3/4 spaces right outside. The max allowed in the brine is 45 ppl and lately they have been at full capacity quite a lot which means a wait in reception until people leave. Reception take forever to answer the phones as they alone have to deal with face to face customers and telephone enquiries and i have noticed that no other staff help out even if they're stood there doing nothing. Maybe more staff could be given the responsibility to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to a public swimming session. Could easily see some of the kids becoming feral with their beachballs and often chucked them near other swimmers creating hazards as they did not allow space for anyone. They were not once told to stay in one area, they kept moving up and down the pool constantly not giving space to people who came to SWIM, not chuck balls. Theyād play catch with eachother , taking up an unnecessary amount of pool space and you could see many frustrated swimmers on the side who just wanted to swim without getting balls thrown at them or the kids being careless and approaching the swimmers regardless whilst still chucking balls and messing about with eachother in careless ways. Parents clearly did not care. Itās of course okay to have fun, but they were just absolutely selfish with the space (the parents did not once ask them to stop bothering others). Was very...
