Lovely individual gardens, a large variety of snowdrops, some still in bloom others just coming to an end. The gardens have been designed and have abundance of trees shrubs and plants. Some are orginal to the owners dating back to 1800s..pig styles, gardeners huts or houses, with authentic chairs tables, pots, kettles,soft furnishings etc..many have fireplaces.. Many have information plaques giving details of history of each garden..few plants for sale.. Facilities cafe, workrooms or workshops,out door sitting areas..toilets etc.. Staff very polite...
Read moreI absolutely loved the place! It is based on voluntary work and it looks so neat. A lot of history in these allotments and walking through I kept thinking that people 200 years ago weren't that much different from us today. Maybe a little healthier eating what they grow instead of fast foods. You could spend good while there on a nice sunny day. I believe that summer days there were the best ever. Family gatherings, children's laughter. One definitely worth visiting...
