Visiting family in Warwick and takeaway was offered as a treat. We looked at some of the established curry houses in the local area (Saffron Gold and River Cross) and the most recent reviews were disappointing. Very pleased we tried this place, certainly has grabbed our attention and will definitely eat there again next time we are in Warwick, the food is great quality and it's fairly priced. The acharee curry was perfectly balanced with pickle flavour, one of the better acharee's I have eaten and the lamb was slow cooked and incredibly tender. Also extremely enjoyed the recommended "Ali's special" punchy layers of flavour that stood out as tasting different to anything usually offered at a curry house. Family had makani (butter chicken) and korma, if you like mild and sweet curries, these were of good quality too, but not for my taste. What was noticeable, was that care was given to making each dish, the quality across the dishes was consistent, and they all tasted different and individually prepared. Sides of daal and keema naans were also delicious. If we had any criticism at all, is that the onions had a bit more bite than I would like, and could have been softened a bit more. Really hard to find anything on negative to say however. If you're overwhelmed by choice in Warwick, try this place. This is what good looks like. I hope they maintain this standard until our next visit! We only managed to take photos of the leftovers reheated for lunch. They don't look pretty photos, but we were honestly too excited by the smell and in a hurry to taste the food to stop and take photos the first time around.

We were staying at the racecourse campsite and were looking for somewhere to have a meal close by. Having read the reviews we decided to give the Vivaanta a try. We are so glad we did because from the moment we arrived to the moment that we left we could not fault the place. The staff were friendly and efficient. The guy who served us was particularly lovely ...joking and making us feel welcome. We had read a few reviews complaining of long waits for the food but in our case it was just right. There were lovely touches, like the waiter coming and asking us if everything was to our liking, then hot towels at the end and mints with the bill. The food itself was fantastic... beautifully spiced and well presented. We both had the fusion starters which were particularly good . Our curries were delicious too! We are hoping to make Warwick our home when we retire in a couple of years but we plan to return for several more visits in our motor home before that. We most definitely will be returning to the Vivaanta!

Went on a Monday not expecting much - got great food and great service. Restaurant is up market and the decor reflects that. The menu has the usual high street fare but also has an amazing selection of well thought out starters and mains that were obviously put together by someone who understands Indian food and flavours, definitely worth trying those. I had the lamb naja for main and typically when a restaurant says the dish is hot that is all you get, raw chilli heat. The dish tasted amazing and the combination of spices made for a very enjoyable dish. Service was spot on, they couldn't be more helpful. Definitely one to revist!

Myself and my family have left this restaurant this evening completely gutted. We have taken my grandparents out for a New Year’s Eve meal and it was an utter disaster. I appreciate that the restaurant was busy , but we were waiting 1hr 45 for our meal. After chasing it up politely , the meal then arrived cold , to which we sent it back. The meal returned after being reheated , leaving the chicken so hard it couldn’t be chewed. After a terrible meal we politely spoke to one of the waiters to communicate our disappointment to which he said he would speak with the manager. The manager approached our table after waiting 20 minutes for him to come to us , and the way we were treated was disgusting. Ali ( the manager ) was incredibly sarcastic and offered us £10 off of our £160 bill. We then responded calmly and said this was unacceptable , to which he said “ I can’t do anymore and I will phone the police if you don’t pay “. Understandably at this point we were becoming upset and aggitated. The manager was mocking us and being terribly rude and when I pointed out that he was being rude he said “ what do you expect me to worship you “. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from a restaurant manager and what an awful way to spend our...
