St Nicholas Park is a great time out, especially within the summer months when it is hot. For a park within a small town, there is a considerable amount of activities to benefit any family. The park consists of a ton of play equipment for younger children, There is a small outdoor arcade/Mop with rides and games to win small prizes and tokens. On the grounds there is a leasure centre with swimming pools, tennis courts and outdoor astro turf football cages. Bench seating is available around the park. A small shack to which you can buy refreshments and ice creams. Outside the shack is outdoor and a small amount of indoor seating, a small stone built stream running near by with a small bridge to walk over. The park also benefits from a small skate park free to use, small outdoor paddling pool which is also free and as the river Avon flows through the grounds, you can also hire an aray of different family friendly boats at a small insite boat yard and use the river to head towards the back of Warwick Castle to get some stunning pictures. Close to the Park is Warwick Town and Smith St so all immunities are close enough to comfortably walk. An on site car park is available. Not free. Toilets available. Over all a great experience for any outdoor lover looking for a friendly park for all to enjoy with lots to do. - Photos of views of Warwick Castle from a hired out Unicorn Peddlo.

Had a lovely day spent here. We took a picnic which we were able to eat sat on the large grassed area. Even though it was a busy bank holiday weekend there was plenty of space to choose from. The play area on the other hand was very busy with lots of children making use of the facilities. The park also has a few fairground type attractions which you need a specific top up type card to scan credits from to allow rides on these. There is also a small cafe serving takeaway food and drink if you decide not to take your own. Toilets are also available but they are in drastic need of an update and they do not appear to be cleaned or attended regularly enough for the amount of visitors they receive on a busy day! There are a couple of car parks available with the one closest to the park entrance filling up very early on in the day. The car park on the opposite side of the river is much more spacious and is only around a 10 min walk either following the road or the path round the back of the park. All in all a generally pleasant experience and I would visit again.

ST Nicolas Park is a spacious and lovely green space that's perfect for a day out with family or friends. The park offers plenty of room for various activities, whether you're looking to play sports, have a picnic, or just enjoy a leisurely walk. The well-maintained lawns and picturesque surroundings make it a delightful place to relax and enjoy nature. However, the park's biggest drawback is the state of the toilets. They are unfortunately in horrible condition and in desperate need of cleaning and maintenance. It's a shame because it detracts from the overall experience of an otherwise beautiful park. If the management could address the issues with the restrooms, Nicolas Park would undoubtedly be a five-star destination. For now, it's a great place to visit, just be prepared for the less-than-ideal restroom facilities.
