A brilliant day out with something for everyone. The brand new Trebuchet show is full of thrills & the Falconer's Quest show is amazing, my little nature enthusiast (10 years old) was living his best life. The wall walks although hard going are well worth it for the views & the actual castle is really well laid out with plenty to see. The staff are all very attentive & friendly. Excellent talk on the history of armour that was accessible to all ages. As we were waiting in the Great Hall for my husband & eldest who were using the facilities my youngest (5 years old) saw a member of staff dressed as a knight & excitedly called out to him. Although the man had his hand on the handle of the door marked "staff only" so was clearly due/in need of a rest he took the time & came over to converse with my very excited son before heading off again. My only disappointment of the day (& the reason I knocked off a star) is that parking is not complimentary. We saved to get the tickets to take the children & they do cost a bit.    Read moreAn absolutely terrible experience. The car parking is 25 mins walk away. The entry price is utterly extortionate for very little. The design and user experience of everything is awful: there is little to see, the huge queues everywhere are ridiculous, slow and badly managed; the history is all of the tackiest possible kind; the castle isn't as impressive as advertised. Warwick Castle should be a great family day out, but it's clear the owners see it as an asset to be ruthlessly milked. A depressing, life sapping, wallet ruining place, poorly run with little thought for the visitors,...
Read moreFacilities good and range of things to look at Staff friendly and helpful the main reason this has not got a five is the fact the pricing on site is OUTRAGEOUS!!!
The secondary spend is waaaaayyyyyyy to much on the day! Additonal costs included photos, trip around the dungeons (which was £10 and we as a family of 4 was £40) parking, archery, sword fights let alone the cost of food and drink which we did not need as took pack lunch. This just let the day down as you are having to constantly say 'no' to your children...
