Love this park. Been to New Brighton so many times didn't even know it was here. Easier and quicker to access park from seabank road onto magazine lane. Park has it's own car Park only big enough for about 8 cars. Otherwise lots of on street parking. Has a cafe which is reasonably priced and very clean, also had seating outside all disabled and dog friendly. Little gardens within the park and the kids will love the little fairy village (see photos) so much love and effort has been put into it. The photo with the stones; they are wishing stones, the idea is your children paint stones put their names on and make a wish as they lay them down with the others. π€ Lots of benches and picnic tables so you can take your own food. Clean park. Play area is good. Separate football area next to play area. Park is opposite the prom and also 3 minutes walking distance from the Black Pearl pirate ship. Good little day out Would highly recommend. Park also has it's own public toilets.

ππ³ππ¬Filled with lots of πΏοΈ'sπ₯ plus there's a cafΓ© for food & refreshments & more importantly π¨π¦ ice creams. Vale Park ποΈ is situated on a steep hill that runs all the way down to the promenade & the River Mersey π. And so it offers great panoramic views across the river as you get into the lower half of the park. This is also were you'll find the bandstand which hosts π΅ concerts & performance's in the summertime π . Just behind the bandstand you'll find there's a π¦ statue of Betty a seal-lion who would come up into the park ποΈ from the river in Victoria times, to be fed by the local children π§βπ€βπ§ on a daily basis...'now that must have been something to see & experience back then & no-wonder she's so fondly remembered in these parts with her very own statue" π¦ π

Lovely spot, well kept with a lovely sea view. It has well kept floral gardens, a couple of play areas for younger and older kids, plenty of rolling grassland and well established, old trees. There are also some intricate curiosities built from driftwood and scraps, bringing the magic of faeries and trolls and mystical creatures to life. There's also an enclosed garden with a music pavilion where we happened upon a "jam on the park" with local musicians. We also saw some pretty impressive feats of balance. It's just a short stroll to the beach and the equally curious Black Pearl pirate ship (maintained by the same people). A fun day out.

DRINK: The coffee was very nice. Full flavour and good crema. COVID: Not letting customers in the shop and good queue put in place. Positive. Staff: The reason the review has a low score. Simply rude to me. Due to COVID I asked for my sugar to be put into the coffee whilst they made it. This simple request I was told was not possible. And I got a barrage of negative comments when I pointed out that Starbucks do it for me... Because of this lack of customer care and simple rudeness, I would avoid. Atmosphere: I was on a short stroll to test my new Digital Watch. Quiet park with many dog walkers around the cafe.

Possibly one of the best parks in the country, it has the fairy garden, which is items created by local people made out of driftwood / wood / old toys. There is a band stand which hosts regular music / dancing events for free during the summer months with lawn chairs to sit and watch. Great views from the bottom of park over to the world famous Liverpool skyline, beautifully maintained gardens and trees and a cafe which sells coffees/teas/ soft drinks / ice creams and cake. Perfect place for children and adults alike.

We loved it here. The play park doesnt have loads to do but was enough for 2 little ones and a big one. Then as you walk round you come to the fairy village which was out of this world! The details were amazing and we spent alot of time just looking and making up stories about their world. There is also a section for people to put there painted rocks or take to rehide and a lovely view of the mersey and over the water. To top it all off there was a cafe situated in the middle with the best cakes!
