Dollar Tree — Attraction in Aberdeen Township

I left a review a while back because there was a blip in hours or maybe someone was late that day but besides that 5/2/24 10:15am the assistant manager and cashier I had to praise on how amazing this particular dollar tree I come to consistently is always beautifully well stock and organized and the quality and different items constantly are amazing. I can actually walk through the store with a shopping cart with zero issues what so ever. Whoever’s been merchandising the sales floor or taking the lead and assuring customers can actually shop without hitting 100 baker racks should get a nice raise considering I’m not running in to dodge for one item. I can actually spend money since I can find items I need or don’t need lol! Moving from the city to NJ has turned me into a slight Karen but all for more positive reviews. With the rebrand an update maybe they should update their employees. I was in line to check out with two kids behind me that ran in front and around me to the registers. No big deal they’re kids , but they then each went to a self checkout and then one ran off to the other register. So since it looked open I approached it to use it. And the woman behind the counter SHOUTED at me and my Baby! “ you can’t use that!! There’s still a transaction “ I was appalled. A customer never deserves to be shouted at like that. Store hours says it closes at 8pm on Sunday. They kicked us out and locked the doors at 7:55pm. Where I’m from they call that a lie, or false advertisement or something to that effect. It is Dollar Tree though so the expectations weren’t set that high. The staff was otherwise ok but that it is a huge peeve to expect to pick something up last minute and told they’re closing five minutes earlier than the posted time.
