Really torn on this review. Everything was great until I ordered a Lagunitas IPA. It tasted off and thought I was misheard and got the wrong beer. I drank just about 1/4 of the beer before I asked a second bartender to pour just a sample to see if it was the right beer. He came back with the sample and it still tasted funky/not right. I mentioned how the beer tasted like it had turned or was bad. He brought me a second glass and tossed the first one (3/4 full) and it still was just wrong. I don't like to be a pain so I just drank that and left it at that. Immediately after, we went to the liquor store down the strip, bought some bottled Lagunitas IPA, went home and tried it. The beer at the restaurant was either turned/bad or they had the lines crossed because it tasted nothing like the bottle at home.
Still going for four stars because the owner/manager was super nice (I didn't bring up the beer to him, was just making small talk), the atmosphere is really eclectic, and the food was perfectly fine. Will definitely be back but may just order bottles/cans or...
Read moreThis was the fourth time we've been to this chain but the first time at this location. The other three visits were at the Freehold, NJ location, which we love. The Jack Daniels Burger is terrific at Freehold, among other dishes my wife and kids ate. The Aberdeen location food was absolutely terrible for the most part. The vegetable sides were like mush, even though my wife specifically said that she wouldn't want it if it turns out mushy... but the waitress said the cook will keep it crispy and fresh. I forgot what my wife ordered but I remember it tasting fair. My Jack Daniels Rib Eye was not good and not only was the sauce bland but it tasted absolutely nothing like the Freehold sauce. My daughter's burger was pretty good but nothing special. The restaurant itself was nicely designed and decorated - and the waitress was pleasant and attentive. Even though the Aberdeen location is 10 minutes closer to our house, we'll take the trip to Freehold from now on. I'm just glad we visited the Freehold...
Read moreOne of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life. I ordered a burrito thinking I’d be able to enjoy it with my own two hands, but instead I got a bloated mess, filled with mushy vegetables, maybe 5 pieces of chicken sliced into small pieces that you can barely taste, rice that was just to fill space, and cheese that was nothing special. My mother ordered a seafood pamedora that she said was so plain and it had a whole 3 shrimp, for $20. A total of 40 dollars I’ll never get back. Additionally, the waffles fries were worse than those in fast food places. They were as hard as rocks and very unappetizing. Also it smelled so bad in there, a bad blend of febreeze and salsa. This was the restaurant In Aberdeen, I don’t know about the other locations, but if you want to go to a sports bar or mexican place there are so many better options. Save your money and...
