My wife and I love this place. The food is always great as is the service. I was troubled to read the review below about the woman who was here with her dad who has Alzheimer’s. I was sitting right next to the cash register when the woman complained about the rude treatment she received from the waitress whom she accused of yelling st her. I did not witness the event but I for sure did not hear any yelling. The waitress in question is a lovely, patient woman who I would be happy to have serve me any day of the week. In fact, I consider her a friend.

As for the father “who wouldn’t know the difference between milk and cream” due to his dementia, I have seen him here many times. He seems like a lovely man. He is usually alone. In fact I have seen him drive into the parking lot which begs the question “how bad can his dementia be if he can drive”? I understand what it is to have a loved one with dementia. It’s not easy but this woman was out of line. The owner, Peter was patient and understanding with this lady but she would not quit! I was glad when he politely asked her to leave. I wanted to applaud.

In this day and age of social media, a bad review can hurt a business immensely. I hope my review will clear things up for anyone...

Took my family here for Father’s Day dinner. This was a whole new experience for all of us as it was the first time eating out since the quarantine. The staff were welcoming and attentive. All dishes came in disposable take home containers which made taking home food easy. The tent provided great shade and the music in the background made it a warm and inviting atmosphere. I loved that it is a BYOB so we enjoyed our own drinks. The food was absolutely delicious! Huge portions so we definitely have leftovers. I ordered the half chicken with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. Chicken was juicy, tender and flavorful. Mashed Potatoes were homemade and tasty. My husband ordered the chicken with mushrooms and devoured the whole thing! He said the mushrooms were fresh and the gravy was creamy and savory. My mother ordered the baked cod and she ate it all! My mother is the pickiest eater, her fish was fresh, light and cooked perfectly. Desserts were delectable. What an assortment and a compliment to such a delicious dinner. I could go on and on but just wanted to give credit where credit is due. We are definitely go...

This is the first time I've been back there in several years. Overall, the food has been and continues to be plentiful, decent and fairly priced, as it is with most diners. My only complaint has been and continues to be with the description of the fish. They continue to state that they're serving "Sole" fish when in fact it is definately not, it is some kind of "mystery" fish. I have complained about this to management on several occasions to no avail. They continue to claim that it is indeed Sole fish. I definitely know when I'm served Sole fish and when I'm not as this is my favorite flat fish and have been eating it for over 70 years! Since Sole is a more costly premium fish, I don't know whether they're being misled by their source and management honestly doesn't know the difference or this is being done intentionally. Unfortunately, I strongly suspect the latter! Don't know when, if ever I'll go back...

Let me start by saying that the service here was good. The waitress, Sophia, was very nice and attentive. She was upbeat and pleasant. Now, the reason the rating dropped was because of the food which was our reason for visiting. Seeing other reviews, we felt confident coming in here. We ordered some Loaded Tater Tots which I would have described as Half-Loaded Tater Tots. The chicken salad that was ordered looked like it was topped with frozen breaded chicken patties that were just microwaved and sliced. The honey mustard sauce was pretty watery instead of creamy. The chicken Italiano panini was eh. Not really tasty and didn't really have much going for it. All of the food was mediocre at best. I personally would not ever visit again. The food wasn't TERRIBLE but it definitely wasn't good.

I’ve been here twice so far, and both times I ordered off the specials. The specials come with a soup or salad and dessert. For an extra $1.99 you can upgrade and get one of their cakes like I did today. I had salmon puttanesca the first time I came. The sauce was very good, but the salmon was overcooked and dried out. I had the matzo ball soup with my dinner which I enjoyed. Today I had the baked ziti and meatballs Parmesan. The baked ziti was good, but the meatballs were horrible. They were dried out and weren’t tasty. I had the chocolate mousse cake for dessert which was very good! My server Aniyah very sweet and attentive. Overall it’s food you would expect from a diner. It was decent, and I’d come back if I wanted something from a diner.

I must say… this has been the only diner I’ve been to with a nice modern look to it. The staff was very attentive, the food was very fresh and stayed warm since plates come out hot hot (shows how thoughtful they are to make sure your meal stays warm) our waitress was sweet and patient when explaining certain things in the menu. The pancakes here and delicious too. I would def come back if I find myself in the area again.
