Sleeping Giant — Attraction in Abilene

Went in the other day to look at some furniture. The sales guy greeted us and then quickly forgot about us when another couple walked in. He spoke to them for over an hour trying to make a sale but little did he know that they were probably going to buy already. Sales guy simply did not know how to close the deal. There's no way a sale requires such a long winded ordeal. Give them the specs and then move around to others who need assistance. Don't ignore a customer for over an hour. I hope the other couple purchased what they were looking at because we got so fed up that we left. Dude could have had two sales but he chose to ignore us. Maybe it's because they were white and we weren't. Maybe it's because they seemed more interested. Maybe it was because they appeared to have money and we didn't. Not too sure why a dude would require a non stop hour long conversation in order to close. But hey guess they didn't need the money or guess the guy didn't need...

This is my second visit and purchase from Sleeping Giant and again, I recommend them. Richard juggles a lot managing that store along with sales. I'm not sure how he does it but store visitors are always greeted so at least they know they're in a que for sales service after he helps the customer before them. That makes a huge difference between being ignored and the potential customer giving up and moving to another place to shop. Lucky me, I've been there each time with prompt 1st in line service from Richard. This will be my 3rd mattress purchase. I'm a new resident to the Big Country and just finished building my new house in rural Jones Co. I specifically came back to Sleeping Giant because of the good service...
