I usually never have an issue at this establishment when I stop by to get what I need. This past friday was very different. I had saved my receipt from the friday ( a week prior ) to show them I was overcharged for a bottle of wine. This was literally how the conversation went: I walked up to the front counter to check out. I had another bottle of Papi Merlot. I said - "I was in last Friday and was charged $7.99 for this bottle but it says on the price label $6.99." I waited to see what the girls up front response would be. There was an older lady behind them - looked to be a manager or possibly an owner. All three women just stared at me in complete silence. I'm thinking - ok....how awkward. Then the older lady said she would go back where the wine was and check. I'm still waiting up front - she could have said to one of the two younger girls - check him out for $5.99 to make up for the oversight from last time ( hey he's back and still giving us business ) and get him on this way, but she didn't. What she did decide to do was to yell literally across the building and I quote: "Go ahead and make it $6.99 this time, but let him know it'll be more expensive next time". She obviously has no customer service abilities. Or maybe used to clientele that doesn't care how they are treated as long as they have their liquid stress relief - which I get as I was there for that myself, but this experience was pathetic. I didn't get an apology for the oversight, I didn't receive a refund or a cheaper bottle of wine to make up for it - just make sure he knows it'll be more money next time. I pass this store and 3 others on my way home. I do not have to continue to give this establishment my money. Just be more kind about the situation - actually engage with me instead of all standing there staring at me like I'm speaking french. Don't scream and yell across the store - come back, look at me and say - hey simple mistake - our apologies for that, and that's all it takes for great customer service....
Read moreSimply put, largest selection in a regular side-of-the-road liquor store you can find in the Acworth/Kennesaw area. Much larger store than most. They even carry things you normally only find at Total Wine or Sherlock's Wine, Liquor, & Beer. Prices are less than average for a lot of things, so it's a good alternative if it's closer than the Barrett stores. They even have some good expensive options in the whiskey dept. Speaking of whiskey, they probably have the best selection of whiskey I've seen in a run of the mill liquor store. They even have all the condiments you need for mixing like juices such as orange and lemon juice as well as various sodas, possibly saving you a trip to the grocery store for those making a Crown & Coke or a Screwdriver. Highly recommend this store over most liquor stores in the area, even if you have to go a bit...
Read more06)24/24: All good, All same. No Bailey's Teramisu. Our last was picked up in London. Very disappointed that No bottle shops recycle the liquor bottles. Previous: There are several bottle shops in the area but to me Beverage Mart definitely has the largest selection of anything involving liquors, beers, wines, mixers and the like. The inventory is large and there are always specials. I believe they are competitive with their pricing. Easy to find your need but there is so much. Aside from making fresh Margaritas my needs in liquors are for cooking. My wife was with me this time and set in the car. She could not believe the traffic in and out of Beverage Mart. Traffic flow in and out is constant but hardly ever a line. The cashiers are efficient. I would always choose...
