They are located on main street in Acworth but don’t have a large sign up yet so you might miss it. I came here for lunch. They had the windows open so I did have a bug coming at me while eating. Only one other party was in the restaurant but the food still came out very slow. They have to move faster to get lunch business. The portions were very small for the price. I had the jerk chicken which at other places is whole pieces of chicken. The plate I received here was mostly bones for about $30. It looked like they had taken one portion and cut it in half. The jerk seasoning was also not very strong and the sides were not impressive, just standard. The only stand out was the cocktail I ordered. I can only suggest better portion sizes if the prices are going to remain high and closing the windows since this is Georgia in the summer. Read moreI’ve never tried Caribbean/Trinadadian food before, so this was a first for me, and it’s safe to say that they did NOT disappoint. The jerk chicken is so tender, so juicy, and perfectly cooked. Big compliments to the chef. The owner is so sweet and very involved, even cooks and serves the food herself. The bartender is not a “B” according to another review that was left a few days ago, he is very efficient and entertaining, especially when making drinks, talked to us the whole time and was very attentive with us. The strawberry ginger mojito is the most delicious drink I’ve ever had, and I strongly recommend anyone that hasn’t tried, or would like to try Caribbean food to come and try it out at least once. I cannot stress enough how amazing this family is and how proud I am of how well...
Read moreThe name says it all. CARIBBEAN VIBES!! If you want to experience the vibes of Trinidadian food and culture in the Atlanta area than look no further. This is AUTHENTIC Trini food executed at a level. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful with making suggestions if this is you are new to the cuisine. I highly suggest a visit to this restaurant if you enjoy perfectly seasoned food.
My only complaint is that I don't live closer and have to drive an hour to eat here. That being said I will make the trip anytime I am in the mood for this food. Completely worth the time and money.
Thank you to Mrs. Susan the owner and her son Logan for the personal warm welcome and the awesome experience. Hope to see...
