Very disgusting behavior from Director Michelle, camp counselors Xander, Chris, and Andrew and should be fired. These 3 bullies tried to force my nephew to eat his food rather than being okay with a hyper 8 year old NOT eating. One grabbed his arms, holding them back. Another covered his nose so he could open his mouth to breathe which allowed the last bully to force his food into his mouth. Michelle was told about the incident and did absolutely nothing about it. When someone went above her to James, she was upset that she got told on. On top of all of this mess, nobody had a small amount of decency to reach out to us regarding the situation Tried to keep it under the rug. These are the people that run this camp and whom also will handle your children. Unprofessional, unorganized and unqualified. Every time I picked up my nephew, the counselors has no idea where the kids were at and had to wait for them to be found. Ok so, I went to the beach today and had a disturbing experience while watching people fish. There was a couple operating a golf cart literally drove on the bridge to get to the other side. Not cool!! These motorized vehicles should be treated like a regular car on the roads for SAFETY Reasons! What if there were children standing on the bridge at the same time the couple chose to take a short cut and the bridge collapsed due to the weight of the cart? While the city of Acworth are reinforcing the rules of the beach ⛱️ with all the signs that they have then they need a sign that says NO MOTORIZED Vehicles on bridge as well! I’ve lived in Acworth all of my life and for the last 21 years I have lived in the historic district. The city always send us stickers to get in the parks here and I love that perk. Today at around 2:30 my husband went to the park at Dallas Landing just to check it out. The lady at the booth told him that his sticker was in the wrong place and that he had no business with a sticker that it was for residents only. My husband that is of Spanish descent told her that he has lived in this area for over 20 years. I don’t appreciate the racism he received from that lady and I wish I had been in the truck with him.
