Pizza By Fuscos — Restaurant in Acworth

When I first looked into checking out Fuscos new pizza place in acworth obviously as a reviewer I check out the reviews. Most of them were very good and as usual there were a couple that seemed not so good. I figured from being a long time customer of their other restaurant which I think highly of it had to be good. And I was right! From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with the beautiful aroma of the woodfired pizza oven which is the focal point of the kitchen. As it should be not only does it produce a beautiful pizza, and a aroma you will be thinking about after you leave. This is one sexy pizza oven. Never thought I would describe an oven as sexy but I just did! The pizza menu is extensive they have a pie for everyone. I have been there 2 times in the last 4 days so I think that should tell you that I feel it is really good. To date I've tried 4 different pizzas and they all were great. If I had to pick a favorite so far it would be the Diavolo it's one of the better pizzas that I've eaten anywhere and that's saying a lot cause I have eaten pizzas all over the country and this one is special. Also they have great wedding soup, not many places around here have wedding soup so finding this was a pleasant surprise and it is very good too, I'm not gonna say it's the best because my grandmother would come back to haunt me but it's close! Also the salad was very good , fresh made to order and very tasty. I guess to sum up my experience this is a gourmet pizza shop without all the frills and hoopla of other gourmet shops in Atlanta. This is a place your gonna get a great meal made by people who care! You can taste the quality of ingredients used and the presentation is unmatched. Chef David is passionate about food you'll know that after the first bite. As far as some of the other reviews complaining about prices. If your looking for cheap tasteless pizza go down the street to Little Ceasar or Domino's. This is not that kind of place. But if your looking for a great authentic woodfired pizza made by a "Real Italian", than Pizza by Fuscos has you covered I promise you will leave...

It was all okay. I just got wings and a beer and watched about an inning of the braves game. Wings were not exceptional but they were not terrible. Personally my service was okay.

Some of the folks I was with had a much worse experience.

One of the people I was with have some pretty severe food allergies and had questions about ingredients of the salad dressings and the young adult gathering the information took an attitude.

Another couple that I was with ordered a pizza and when they brought it to the table it was not what they ordered, my friends told them twice that's not what we ordered and the server said well that's what I ordered for you and put it on the table. At which point my friend said this is b* that's not what we ordered. Bring us some **cking boxes we're leaving.

The server that copped the attitude about disclosing the food ingredients and the server that brought the pizza were two different people and not just one young adult having a bad day.

Fusco's is one of the best pizza places you could ever go to. They make authentic Italian pizza and the dough is made fresh which is always a huge plus for me. I've had many of the pizzas there but my favorite has to be the Bianca. The bites of fresh ricotta are so rich and creamy and just go super well with the fresh dough. It's also a great vegetarian option if that's something your looking for. I also recommend the San Genaro pizza. The marinara is not your typical marinara and by that I mean it's so much better in every way. I don't live marinara but I love the marinara sauce on the pizzas. Service is fantastic and the staff are incredibly helpful which is great if it's your first time and don't know what to get. There's also authentic Italian gelato which tastes incredible and you have several options to choose from. All in all I recommend everyone try Fusco's, the pizza is unlike any other...
