Mustill Store/House is a visitor center and museum on the Ohio&Erie Canal Towpath. A good starting point to continue on the towpath to see locks number 3, 2, 1.

This trailhead has lost its appeal due to the devastation of the trail's natural scenic ambience by the construction of OCIT-1 which has made a section of this trail a wasteland!! This area needs to be re-forested ASAP. It's very sad because this used to be my favorite trailhead to run from and now there is a behemoth structure built there and a very large field of nothing but open space beside it. The Volunteer did the most AMAZING job explaing, pointing out and showing us the history and important facts and his favorite thing's that were Wonderful, the Tour was well worth it! I have Been Wanting and Waiting for the store to be open to go in, and with the time, explanation, knowledge, help, Guidance and friendliness of the Volunteer it made the Short tour ...

It was marvelous to stand in such an historic spot! I loved the photos showing the days when it was a busy stop during the heyday of the canal. Mike was especially knowledgeable volunteer and I can't wait to go back and buy some books from the store about...
