Very poor. Went for a first pregnancy appointment after miscarriage. Waited an hour and a half just for Dr. Bielawny to come in and talk to my husband and I for only a few minutes. It was painfully obvious that he was in a rush to see the other patients and was trying to leave our room as fast as possible. He interrupted my husband and I as we tried to ask questions about concerning symptoms I was experiencing and pain I was in by cutting us off and saying, “So what’s the question.” After waiting so long to talk to a doctor who clearly could care less about meeting with us, was being rude, and also was insensitive to my recent miscarriage, my pregnancy hormones could not deal and I started crying. Held my sobs until I got to the car and tried not to let him see my cry. I wouldn’t waste my time if I were you. Pick an OBGYN who cares about their patients and isn’t overbooked like this guy. His practice doesn’t even do bloodwork or sonograms/ultrasounds and those are scheduled farther out from when you meet with him. I found a practice that has kind and patient doctors willing to answer all my questions and that does bloodwork and sonograms on the same day. I hope you...
Read moreBad gynecologist, bad billing. This visit was supposed to be free under my insurance. All he did was prescribe me birth control, and did not even do any examination for what I suspect to be vaginismus. Now I'm in $200 something debt that is going into collections when all he did was prescribe me birth control and did no examination. His office never warned me that this would not be considered a "well women visit", and I have suffered a tremendous amount of emotional distress as a result of the debt. I don't even want to visit gynecologists anymore because of the deceptive behavior of his office despite what I suspect to be a troubling issue. My dad (the person that pays for my examinations) no longer trusts OB-GYNs as a result of this experience. My sister also had her "well woman visit" charged for $200+, putting her into debt as well. I wouldn't recommend coming here again unless you want to be swindled and conned, then endlessly confronted with collections agencies.
As for Dr. Bielawny himself, he didn't address my vaginismus issues at all during the session, saying that I didn't need to do an examination until I was...
Read moreI’ve been seeing Dr. Bielawny for about 7 years now and he’s always been an amazing doctor. I’ve never had any complaints as far as treatment and attentiveness however, the prices and out of pocket cost of an office visit and general women’s health checkup have increased SIGNIFICANTLY since they moved locations. I’m not sure if that’s because of inflation or the cost of the office relocation but whatever the case, $200+ was never a norm for me even without insurance. One of the best things about seeing Dr. Bielawny for me was the premiere care at such affordable rates but now it’s just way too much. Also, considering that, having to wait an hour plus after my scheduled appointment time to actually be seen is also a bit frustrating. If I scheduled my appointment for 8am, i shouldn’t be just being seen at 9:30am, it’s inconsiderate and unreasonable. Maybe this is just my experience? Dr. Bielawny is an amazing doctor and I would love to continue seeing him but these frustrations are making it less and less likely that I’ll be...
