4/12/25 around 5:45pm. Man the little girl with the false eyelashes at the second drive thru window who hands you your order, needs to check her attitude big time. Granted they were busy on a Saturday afternoon but no busier than any In n out at that time. Been to several different In-N-Out locations and they've all been consistently pretty great. Not here. I was being nice, polite and patient. She hands me my order but I basked if I could get a second box and some catchup. Our order for 3 was simple. She handed me those but a bunch of catchup packets wind up on the ground and only 2 wound up in my hand for 3 people. She turned around and seemed not to notice so I tried getting her attention by waving. I was smiling but That seemed to tick her off anyway. I ask for a few more because they fell. She grabs a hand full, hostility all over her face, and assumes an overhand baseball pitch like she's aiming for my face - like an angry toddler! What? Nothing preceding this would've justified the aggression. Really took me off guard and I drew back because I thought she was gonna lob them at my face. My brother in the back seat says out loud, "woa!" I looked hard into her face and she placed them in My hand. I sat there a bit longer looking at her but the little coward wouldn't even look up. When she finally did, I gave her smile and drove off. Customer service is hard. I should know. But you don't take aggravation from other customers out on Someone who's being civil just because you think you're entitled to and take the paycheck. They also forgot one of our fries, and got our drinks wrong. The order taker and the first window person (cashier) got the orders correct. The star I gave...
Read moreit’s IN-N-OUT, anyone that hasn’t had in-n-out is either a hamburger snob that’s gets their gold plated burgers fed to them by hand or is a vegetarian. in-n-out is just okay. i only eat in-n-out when i’m hungry and smell the burgers from a close by store. i’m a self proclaimed hamburger aficionado. i’m 60 years old and have been in a hundred plus hamburger establishments over my lifetime, plus, i make a mean burger at home myself. in-n-out burgers have a taste that’s the same through and through. i won’t comment on the hidden menu because i tried something from it once and thought it was disgusting, so i stick to what works for me , being the creature of habit that i am = double double with everything, no tomato, combo with fries and coke please. then im good for in-n-out for at least a couple few months before ill go back again. it’s probably much longer than that. love love the fries and with an air fryer at home, for the first time in the history of french or fries, i can resurrect fries from any establishment to the way they tasted when they first came to me in a lukewarm state. i was saying to my friend the other day when we were in our car waiting in line, “this is a total cash “cow”, if the lines don’t stop all during operational hours, then it never ever stops raining dead presidents upon the corporate heads of in-n-out. wow! that’s genius. gotta give em credit for creating a business that never ever stops raking in greenbacks 24/7. astonishing! that’s it….. Tno...
Read moreI've been to 3 in-n-outs in the bay area throughout my life so far and this is the mostly friendly and patient of the 3 even during lunch rush. Workers there usually seem happy and perky and yet some customers do still have to be rude jerks sometimes because they have to wait for their order or something like they don't see the long drive thru line before even getting into the parking lot and packed restaurant inside...This spot is really close to a high school, Alameda college, and a shopping area so it does get busy pretty much at all times, even midnight on the weekends.
I used to only get a bunch of regular hamburgers and single cheeseburgers because they were relatively cheap but over time I've just gone with the crowd and get a few double-doubles for myself like most people. I love their burgers, nothing fancy about it, simple and relatively healthier than most other fast food restaurants. Veg is fresh, lettuce, tomato, onion(you have the choice of raw or cooked and even sliced or minced, and pickle. I'm not a fan of their fries but that's me, if you ask for it to be well done/crispy it gets an...
