For context, I am a 33 year old male. I've always had visible pores, but within the past year, they became larger which really affected my self esteem. I also suffer from discoloration/hyper-pigmentation. Initially, I scheduled a facial with the lovely Liz. During my facial, Liz suggested a chemical peel to help reduce the pore size. The chemical peel was great and I got quick results after the shedding. After some time, I felt my pores still appeared large so I returned for a follow up check in. Sonia heard my concerns and then suggested I try Micro-Needling with PRP. She explained it could help with discoloration, skin texture and give an overall brighter appearance. I booked 3 sessions, each a month apart and I was so grateful that Sonia worked with my schedule. She stayed much later than she had to in order to ensure I was properly set after each treatment. After the first treatment, I was very hopeful. The down time is only about a day or so with some bruising which was great because I did not want to miss work like I had with the chemical peel. I started noticing results 3 weeks after my first treatment, going into my 2nd treatment. She was very clear though that the overall results will appear throughout the coming months. After the second treatment, I saw even better results. I could not deny there was improvement in the areas I was concerned for. Well, it's now been 2 weeks since completing my 3rd treatment and I have to say I am so satisfied with the results. There's been such a HUGE improvement in the reduction in the size of my pores and my complexion is overall brighter. My confidence is so much better and that's all I really wanted. I'm grateful for Sonia in her advice, experience, and the shared struggle she shared with skin texture. I left each treatment feeling more confident and accepting of myself through her help. Excellent customer service, very professional and informative! The doctor was very understanding of my wants/needs, and so accommodating/understanding when it came to my budget. I saw immediate results with my hydrafacial! My skin is super soft, and looks clearer/nice glow. I’m definitely a new fan. As far as my Botox, it’s only been a few days, I’ll certainly update after. Great experience!

Update: My botox took a turn for the worse. One eye is droopy, my forehead still has noticeable wrinkles, and my face has shifted to one side. I spoke to Sonia about my concerns. And the pain I’m experiencing from the only one side lifting. I learned I was given less Botox in my forehead then I usually get, and a large amount in between my eyebrows, I no eyebrow lift. This was confusing as I told her my area of concern was my forehead, I don’t have wrinkles between my brows, and she did the crows feet which is fine, buy I discussed having my eyebrows lifted as well. So I felt the things I mentioned weren’t fully considered. When I called she mentioned she didn’t use Botox, then changed what she said. She said she can’t help me until the 9th. Although I said I was in pain. I understand she’s busy but the lack of consideration was very saddening. Now on Christmas Eve she said she can help me today, but has stop texting/all call are going to voicemail. This is shocking considering she was so kind in the office. I feel I got a botched Botox job, and she’s not helping/taking accountability. I cancelled all holiday plans, and will have a trusted person fix my face. Please be aware that if something goes wrong and you’re a new patient, you’ll likely not get help or honesty. With 60 units of Botox I expected a different outcome. The clinic is tucked away in a little shopping center, behind the Encinal Market. I was fortunate to find parking inside, but most likely you'll have to look for street parking when it gets busy in the area. The reception area is very clean and welcoming. They have 1 treatment room so they only book 1 client at a time. I had the Hydrafacial with Kim today. She looked at my skin and listened to my concerns and highly recommended the Hydrafacial. This was my first time doing this treatment. I typically have microdermabrasion, extractions, treatments, and masks done when I get a facial. The Hydrafacial was like a combination of all those things using 1 machine. The procedure was very thorough yet gentle. After the procedure, she showed me what was vacuumed from my face! My skin feels really smooth, clean, and hydrated! I was glad I had it done and I already booked my next one.

UPDATE: I had another Hydrafacial today and had a good experience. My only criticism is I hope they also include the neck and decolette for the treatment like other places do. At other facials I have done elsewhere, I typically wear a towel/robe so that they can include the neck and decolette in the treatment.

I recommend training your weekend front desk staff to be trained on how to use Care Credit. This payment method is obviously accepted since you have all the advertisement displayed at the front. I could have spent more money (like bought a package) if the staff knew how to process it. Instead, I just paid for the service...
