Was looking for things to do to kill some time before visiting the Dunes, and found this museum. My boyfriend and I didn’t know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised! We were a little unsure about a personal museum tour but we’re so glad they do this! Our tour guide explained everything in depth and in a way that better helped us retain the information. Inside you def find many cool exhibits and you can learn a lot about Alamosa and the San Luis Valley. I was mostly coming to see Pikes Journal as they have the only original copy. Wow!
