Breakfast here was amazing with the quick seating, friendly staff and home cooked food. They have an extensive breakfast menu and we ordered the Southwest Skillet with the green chili sauce and veggie omelet with homefried potatoes. It was so good, we went back the next morning for the same veggie omelet and a breakfast burrito with ham, sausage and bacon. We were so ready to eat that I forgot to take pictures the next morning, lol.

Traditional diner-style cafe that is exactly what you expect in a rural town in America. The fried potatoes really hit the spot, the coffee is continually topped off with a kind smile, and the food is filling. The kind servers were very helpful for our party of six and continually checked to make sure we had what we needed. The bathrooms were clean and there is convenient parking right on the street.

Thoroughly impressed with the breakfast here. Customer service was stellar, prices are reasonable, and the food was straight-up good. Hashed browns are made from real bakers, home-made gravy, big portion sizes, and a delightful staff. Take a gander at the massive cinnamon rolls, too.

If you think twice about going here think 3 times and say no. From some of the reviews and menu I was eager to eat here as we are traveling and it looked like a nice mom and pop place which I love over chain restaurants. First up Coffee is like water- I kid you not- looked like water that someone had dipped a tea bag into for a tad bit of color. I took a sip and said sorry I can't drink hot water. Ordered chicken fried steak and eggs. My eggs were cooked perfect, the chick fried steak was a frozen patty that tasted the quality of less than hamburger. No round steak in this chicken fried steak. More like a hamburger patty mixed with bread crumbs to keep meat costs down. The white gravy and fried potatoes were very good. The server never checked back with us. No utensils at the table, had to ask for a spoon to prepare my hot water aka coffee. Flagged down another waitress for utensils and again to tell her coffee was water. Prices are all over the place- they charge for soda refills, my coffee (water) was $3. Oatmeal is $6- how much can that package of instant oats cost? My chicken fried with 2 eggs was $12- which is no problem if it was a REAL chicken fried steak not a frozen sub standard breaded fried burger patty. There are a ton of places to eat in Alamosa but this is not one of them, so drive on by and look some more. I must add no owner- missing utensils was after my coffee was served- no spoon to stir the water with- As to prices- I am saying some things are over priced some are ok- some maybe low but they are allover the place. Haven't had any other place in town charge so much for coffee or soda and want to charge more for a refill for the soda. Not trying to be rude, just stating my experience today at this establishment. And like I said before owners rude comments, don't mind paying $12 for a chicken fried steak but this WAS NOT A CHICKEN FRIED STEAK!, no cube steak round steak or any thing near it-Sorry if I offended but this is my experience today- note that I did say the eggs and...

When you walk in the women who own and run this restaurant are hustling and still make sure to greet you - all of them. The food tastes exactly how you'd expect, like these aunties woke up, started cooking and invited the family over.

They didn't bat an eye at my huevos rancheros order even though I asked them to hold this/add that, etc. The green chile held its flavor and wasn't overdone with a bunch of additions that green chile doesn't need. The potatoes had that lovely bit of char and the tortillas were fresh. My huevos were so good I ordered the biscuits and gravy to go for...

Little expensive. Air temperature was hotter than the food. Seat next too me had crumbs on it from the last seating. Otherwise its still the best in Alamosa. I'm editing my review to 1 star for your rude reply. 3 dollars for coffee? You should be able to check the temperature of your own food before sending it out. Still believe 3 stars was fair, still left a great tip, your reply was lame.. Clean your tables and chairs better between seating, and the sticky menus. Would have still returned until your nasty reply. Now i will never support your...
