Being honest we liked the food. What we don’t like is being charged a service fee when we’ve already left a tip. We don’t like the owner blocking us on Facebook for asking a valid question. We ordered the $7 brown bag special but we were charged extra for lettuce and such, that wasn’t the worst part, they threw the veggies in the bottom of the bag on top the fries. All we did was mention our dissatisfaction on his FB ad and he not only didn’t respond he blocked us as if we were not important and he removed our comment. Word of mouth is the best advertising and can also be the worst when a business owner doesn’t care about the customer, he’s doomed to fail. I ran businesses for my entire life and never ever did I ignore a customer with a valid issue. We were good customers and have eaten at all of his locations several times. This particular issue could have been addressed by the owner and a customer could have been saved in certain but ignoring and blocking comments doesn’t show concern for the customer or their satisfaction. Hopefully, Others will now be able to see our comments as they cannot be removed from public view.
Edit: In response to the owners comment, I had no plan to ruin anyone’s business, I simply wanted the owner to be aware of an issue. He’s making assumptions about customers that are certainly not true. Again below he didn’t even offer the fix the issue he made an assumption that someone wants to harm his business. We’re senior citizens and don’t have time to worry about harming anyone. From now on, we simply won’t set foot inside his store. As you can see from his response, he doesn’t care. I changed from 2 stars to 1 bust zero...
Read moreI’ve loved the cuisine of Colorado Grille since my first bite! Having that cuisine in Alamosa has been truly a gift! Whether you eat in, order to go or order on DoorDash- there is no wrong choice! The menu is stacked with everything from shareable appetizers (I struggle to share mine if we’re being honest😂) to filling entrees and sweet treats too! The corn nuggies and fried green beans are my go-tos for starters! The 10 oz steak with Mac and cheese and sautéed veggies is my typical entree! The steak cuts like butter and is so tender, bursting with flavor! Their Mac and cheese is sooooooooo good! Between their cakes, fried raspberry cheesecake and the multitude of soft serve ice cream options, there is absolutely something for everyone! And don’t get me started on their beverages! The cucumber lemonade is my all time favorite! I’ve never had anything I haven’t enjoyed here! And the vibes are ALWAYS on point! I’ve been a fan girl for here for so long and for good reason! The tumblers they have for sale are amazing too! Super cute, they keep things hot or cold for HOURS and they may or may not hold an entire bottle of Stella Rosa wine😜 And having the option of dining in, take out and ordering for delivery- what is...
Read more1st time at this little Grille. For starters, we had the chips and salsa. We were pleasantly surprised with the salsa. It was very unique in that it was chunky and had a spicy-sweet taste, really hard to describe, but it was pretty good. We had a New Mexico Burger, a sirloin steak with mac and cheese, and a chicken strip platter. The burger was really good but couldn't really taste the green chile. Besides that, the only other thing I didn't like about it was the way they cut their onion. They are cut into about 1/2 inch slices and give you only a few rings. They are too hard to put in it being that thick, so I had to break them apart and lay them flat. It also came with 2 big pickle slices. The steak had a pretty good flavor. The mac and cheese was a disappointment. It just wasn't our thing, and I wouldn't get it again. The chicken strips were good, and the fries were some of the best I've had. They were not the homecut fries, just the regular ones. Overall, we spent $70, including tip for 3 people, and we only had one soda. It wasn't busy, and after the server got us all we needed, he never checked back to see if we...
