Sure, if you insist on an environment such as Barnes & Noble where it's a big, new, snazzy, brightly-lit box store with teenaged "associates" with earbuds putting them in constant communication with Management running around ignoring you, where the prices are painful, by all means go there. But if your priority is BOOKS, and you're fascinated by all the old titles, and you'd like to sit down in an overstuffed chair and browse and you don't mind if the bookstore cat jumps up and curls up on your lap, then try Browser's. The people are knowledgeable and helpful. They will even help people who are negative and rude. Have never seen anything disgusting there, myself. Read moreI have been to many bookstores. I've been to all the big chains, and a lot of small town ones, but this place takes the cake! The look, feel, and atmosphere of this enchanting store is something I haven't experienced in a very long time. The smell of the books, the coolness of the air, and the relaxed environment combine to create a Eden of books big and small.
