Harbor Freight — Attraction in Albany

I have been to this sore 6 times looking for a fan that was advertised in their opening add. Every time they claim to be sold out or have not received a shipment. This last time I was straight out lied to. I had friend that went to the store on a Friday and purchased the very fan I was looking for and they messaged me stating that the store received a shipment and due to the fact that I live over 45 minutes away and I had other obligations, I was not able to come to the store that day. It was two days later and I went to the store and obtained one of the item cards and proceeded to the register. I was told at the register that they were sold out and have been sold out. The sleeve for the fan had like 20 cards in it. The manager stated that they were required to keep those in there. I said that was very misleading to the customers and asked when the next shipment would be expected since you had some in just this past Friday. She very adamantly stated that they did not get any a had no idea what I was talking about. I have asked numerous times if a rain check can be had with this item and have been told that cannot be offered. I cannot use the promotional coupon online and the manager had the gall to suggest that if i wanted the fan bad enough that, that is what I should do. Over all I like the quality of their merchandise. You have to be picky. As an example, their brands of cordless impacts and drills. Prices are like half of a major brand. So you could buy 2 and still be ahead. Beware of batteries some are included some not. Kits usually have all put together. When replacing the batteries, they are usually much less expensive as name brands. But check out the weight of these tools some are really heavy, compare. Tool boxes are good for the money. I’m giving you a one review today because of the way I was handled via phone. I called this afternoon and was immediately put on hold. After about 8 minutes I hung up. I called right back thinking the young lady forgot me, I was put on hold again. The young lady could not answer any of my questions and had no alternatives or anything to help me.
