My husband & I went inside to eat. When we walked in, there was a sign that said 1 lb of shrimp $20 & another sign that said 2 for $25 for Crib Legs. We took the sign for the crab legs, meaning that it was for 2 people for $25! We even asked the waiter about the sign as well & he didn't TRY to correct our understanding of the sign! So anyways, that's what we ordered. The legs didn't have enough meat in them. My husband had to go get a to go box at the bar. The waiter was on his cellphone, talking most of the time & didn't come to the table once we started eating. He never brought us our check. I had to go to the bar to pay out!! The person running the bar said our bill was $69.98!!! I asked her why it was that much!! She told me that the 2 for $25 was not for two people but for 2 CLUSTERS OF CRAB LEGS!! I wasn't too happy because this should have been made CLEAR BY THE WAITER WHEN WE ORDERED!! IF HE WOULD HAVE GIVEN US OUR TICKET, I WOULD HAVE QUESTIONED HIM THEN!! THOSE CRAB LEGS WERE NOT WORTH $50!!! I COULD HAVE WENT TO THE GROCERY STORE & PURCHASED CRAB LEG CLUSTERS CHEAPER THAN THIS!! As we were going out the door, I looked at the sign again. The word CLUSTERS was in SMALL PRINT to where you can't see it!! If we knew this, we would have ordered something else!! We will not be...
Read moreOur server was attentive and excellent overall. The food could stand improvement. We had the two item seafood combo including Dungeness Crab, ½ pound headless shrimp, a lonely small potato, and 2 inches of soggy corn. All items were presented in a double plastic bag affair sitting in a metal pie tin like plate. It appears as if all the items were cooked together in a spiced butter sauce. I ordered lemon and garlic with medium heat level. The heat level was appropriate for the medium rating. Overall I feel other than the solitary small potato it all was notably over cooked. Both the crab and shrimp were somewhat rubbery and as previously mentioned the corn was a soggy mess. The crab was extricated from the shell using provided cracking devices but finer work would have been easier if a metal fork had been provided. Only one picnic style plastic fork was available. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. It was recently renovated as it was formerly occupied by a national chain buffet. I do not see us returning anytime soon. Finally I must note that this restaurant did provide a 5% military discount. We had our meal on a Saturday afternoon. There were few patrons...
