I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with the appalling level of service, disorganization, and outright disrespect I experienced during my recent visit to your establishment.
First, the handling of the “VIP” process was an absolute embarrassment. Management announced that they “called out VIP” but, when questioned, openly admitted they didn’t know what to tell us. This is unacceptable. What’s worse is that the manager did not even have the basic decency to address us directly—no eye contact, no proper communication, and no professionalism. Speaking toward the floor instead of to the people you are supposed to be serving is not only discourteous, it is insulting. Second, when my friends attempted to seek assistance by politely asking an individual if they worked there, we were met with rudeness instead of help. This is basic customer service protocol, and the fact that your staff failed to manage even this simple interaction speaks volumes about the training—or lack thereof—being provided.
Finally, the sheer disorganization was staggering. There was no clear plan to ensure that VIP customers received their items in a timely or orderly manner. If you are going to offer a “VIP” service, it should be executed with efficiency, respect, and clarity—not confusion, neglect, and unprofessional behavior. This entire experience left me feeling disregarded, frustrated, and convinced that your management either lacks the training or the willingness to lead effectively. Never coming back to this venue again, if you’re in ABQ and thinking of...
Read moreFrequent concert goer here. Launchpad is obviously one of the main venues in the area and although I have concerns, it has never stopped me from going here or reconsider it until last night. I'll start with the minor concerns: 1. The front door people are often rude, I get that events cause high anxiety and tension so I pay no mind, but they're vibe increases the anxiety for me. 2. The girls restroom has a huge gap between the handicap stall and middle stall, no privacy in the handicap stall. 3. I think the sound system needs to be upgraded. 4. The major concern from last night was that during a light mosh session, I witnessed a female get violently punched in the face by a man. She was hurt and even with the crowd pointing him out, he was not escorted out or any consequences period. I feel more security or action in this type of scenario is very necessary. I didn't feel safe with him still standing there enjoying the show. I still love the place, and the amazing vibe and shows. Music is my life but I feel that solutions need to be discussed. Thanks for reading my rant . I have to add that I appreciate this place for hosting the bands we love and the bartenders are awesome with their service and great drinks....

Marginally interested, appropriately decorated dive bar wait staff await. Though adequate, you're not at this kind of place for top shelf service: If the music doesn't carry the night, nothing else will...not even cheap PBR. Use your cover charge wisely and your applause discriminately...lest you give a crappy local band reason (and/or hope) to fulfill their hobby beyond a girlfriend's testimonial and the rattling of a poorly insulated garage.
Does ANYONE throw house shows anymore? At all? Has anybody graduated from that lately? No? Well, there are always touring bands to influence their way into the current year.
Balancing your music patron ideal vs. your actual service rendered is a tip conundrum that will endure, just don't be the guy that doesn't tip...no matter how long it took or how many times they passed you.
"Day of" concert cover is always five bucks extra than advertised (if this is not already common knowledge to you) which is normal. Street parking and lot parking. Modest patio and stage overlook on the second floor. Holds 150 on a good day. 300 on their...
