I have gone to Oscar for over 10 yrs...his work is great and he always makes sure "his" customers are happy. But, when it comes down to his workers they are a bit lazy and disconnected. I try to stay loyal and keep coming back even after several mishaps, such as cuticles bleeding and minor mistakes like colors. For instance, I go today and asked for simple gel colors on my real nails. I show the tech a pic and the results look nothing like what I wanted. I asked if he could change the pinky to grey and he said he'd have to charge more. That's just crazy! Customer service should be priority! I gave this new shop many chances over the years and I'm done. I will no longer recommend Luxury nails to anybody.
Just so you know...my friend gets her nails done there and I told her the service was bad. She wanted to go in...and if i recall you didnt turn me away you said there was a two hour wait. So jokes on you, you lost her as a customer that day.
LMAO! Oscar, you seem to be extremely distraught by my review. My friend (girl who you cant remember her name...GREAT customer service BTW, a good nail tech remembers customers by name and welcomes them. Good save though!) I did mention your offer to her, she laughed at your "discount" and thought this was a very desperate measure, in addition to all the low reviews you have been receiving. This convo has been fun and I thank you for making me a priority and responding...LOL! I wish you better luck with your customers and reviews. Lots of competition out there!...
Read moreThese are just a FEW of the amazing designs I have received over at Luxury Nails from my man Oscar! I had visited Luxury a few times before and got amazing service by a few of the other techs, but when I kept herring about how good Oscar did at designs I had to try and get in with him. The first ones he ever did for me was the sugar skull design. I was hesitant to ask him because in the past at other salons they would tell me my nails were too short to have any intricate designs, but he said he could do it and I trusted him! He of course exceeded my expectations and I was hooked ever since.
As I mentioned, all the techs are amazing so they DO get pretty busy! I recommend calling ahead and booking an appointment if you have plans, but if you’re not in too big of a hurry, they do take walk ins, and it’s worth the wait!
I always get the dip manicure (by Oscar) and a gel pedicure from my girl Anne! They are always clean and nice and they even give you your pedicure file, scrub, and buffer to take home! I love this place and I will never go anywhere else! You have to give it a try!
P.S. I just noticed on one of the pics I posted, you’ll notice the polish is peeling a little. I work with a lot of cleaning solutions so sometimes this can happen, but this particular case happened a few days after my appointment (which is VERY rare) so I gave Oscar a call, and he fixed it immediately (as soon as I got off work) at no cost! Him and his staff...
Read moreLIARS! I called ahead of time and got prices.. The guy told me that it was $40 for a pedicure with gel, $40 for a full set of acrylics, $40 for a refill and gel. My sister and I went in we both got pedicures with gel, I got a full set of acrylics, she got a refill with gel. Somehow they learned their math from lawyers, the total was $195. I argued and they would not budge. I dont know where they get all their stars from, but I don't have a straight nail regardless of the price they charged. I will agree that Christi did a good job with the cuticles, but I asked for square-round and got round. Take my advice and go down the street a little bit more to Pacific Salon. At least there you are paying for what you get..... a great job. This teaches me to try an get a bargain. It wasn't a bargain and they did not do a...
