The traffic was horrible there should have been some type of police assistance because It got out of hand with impatient people $20 to park is insane and $20 a person We didn't even step into the ferry yet and already spent $100 food prices are outrages food is awful I got a turkey leg for $25 It was overcooked and very dry funnel cake was $10 was so hard and burnt the pizza was so thin not even a fluffy pizza a lot of the animal vendors are no longer there where they had chickens and rabbits they made it into a bar which I was very disappointed the pavilion didn't really have anybody in there that was selling their products It was either big companies Indian village was a very sad site to look at with only three food vendors open and two only selling jewelry they are probably charging up the butt That's why a lot didn't come back The Midway was awful I saw the same game about eight times and charging $20 when you get to only throw three balls and you don't win nothing then New Mexico State Fair is not the same it's very disappointing and I don't think I'll be coming next year My childhood the memories and all I have this new fair the last 3 years have sucked y'all need to do better especially for the residents of New Mexico to get some type of discount You guys need to offer more things on dollar day instead...

The state fair I always look forward to the food and to walk around this last year me and my wife couldn't even make it past security, they wouldn't let people in with wallet chains the world have bigger problems than me protecting my valuables from not getting pick pocket I couldn't understand there reasoning when ask to speak to a manager right away a unprofessional looking man walked over tattoos up and down his neck and body immediately wanted to escalate the situation and bring the sheriff's to arrest me for asking why I was being treated like this instead of being a professional which he is there for people's safety not to cause harm. That is one reason why I believe the fair is going to be the thing of the past I have noticed over the years a increasing number dropping from people and venders my family is apart of the fair from the rodeos, its unsettling that they allow giant egos to run security instead of professionals. When asked for my money back from parking which is $10 no refunds I said I wasnt even here for 5 min. So I'm officially boycotting the fair which was apart of my family since I was born it is sad but Im not going to be treated like this for all the years I have supported something that is...

Was running slow for my day but made it to the Flea Market at 2pm not knowing they were closing early. A Blonde haired caucasian woman with an orange colored shirt on came out yelling that they were closing. People were making there way out. One of the local Indigenous Artist was heading to his vehicle when he asked if I would be interested in seeing a couple of his pieces. Being an Indigenous person and local business owner myself, I was happy to see something of the flea market since covid last year. I was extremely taken back when she targeted us to scream Leave Now Or I'll Have The State Police Make You Leave! Hundreds of people were still there so I can take a guess as to Why she thought it appropriate to single out two Indigenous males. I was able to take a pic of her as she made her way back into the actual flea market which I never made passed the gates. I immediately informed one of the supervisors and he said it was her second time today she threatened to use the police to enforce her will. That's exactly how people get killed under false allegations to the police. Let's please not allow these sort people to put us in danger in...

The New Mexico State Fair comes to Albuquerque every September for 10 days. The fair features carnival rides and activities for kids, like duck races and water gun target practice. But much of the fair features authentic New Mexican culture from the special food (Indian fry bread, churros and more); lively entertainment from colorful flamenco dancers to popular bands. Competitions from rodeos to jam & jelly making to raising goats abound! My favorite activity this year was the State Fair Parade that ran down famous Route 66 (Central Avenue). Viewed by about 11,000 people along Central and thousands more via live TV coverage, this is one of the most lively and colorful elements of the fair.
