Sunset Grille & Bar — Restaurant in Albuquerque

I was visiting ABQ for a work conference and decided to stop by on a Wednesday night for Karaoke. First, I met an older lady named Michelle who was absolutely amazing. She shared stories with me about visiting my hometown of Nashville Tennessee for a songwriters convention. She was so sweet. Second, The waitress was super sweet and very attentive. I wish I remembered her name. Third, the karaoke DJ was very welcoming. We had conversations about our ancestry, he showed me pictures of his family. Everyone was so friendly. I sung two songs and a patron offered to buy me a drink because he liked my singing. I ordered the Buffalo wings and they were really good. If I'm ever back in ABQ, I'm definitely visiting this bar again. If I could give 100 stars,...

It was near closing time, but I'd promised a friend I was going...so keeping my word there I go in a Lyft(my driver 👍🏼x5) it's snowing outside-this is MARCH‼️ and I arrived in tact! There were a couple small friendly crowds and a couple on the dance floor-no karaoke as it was less than an hour til closing time. I found the both bartenders,Darin & Grace to be friendly and attentive, despite tending to closing duties. I have heard that Karaoke🎤Night is BUMPING❣️.r I'll have TO TRY to get there by 7pm on Thursdays and enjoy a drink 🍻 or two☺️🤭 sing my heart away🎤👩🏽‍🎤 and then call a Lyft ride home. It's a great neighborhood bar. Lots of great people. A place where 1st timers feel welcome. Everything on the menu is really good. They have pool tables and dart boards. Karaoke from 8 to close on Wednesday's and Thursday's with Charles is always fun. Some very talented singers. The Los Bohemia's play fabulous Latin music on Fridays and Saturdays from 9pm to 1:30am. On Sunday's every month a different band playing a variety of music. New Mexican, rock and roll, country, a little bit of everything from 7 to 11pm. Let's not forget the awesome bartenders...
