New Midland Plaza — Attraction in Alcoa

Extremely disgusting experience. There was a wait, & you had to wait outside, but they didn't come out there to call your name. We live across the street decided to try out the breakfast, prices on the website are completely different than on the menu. We were served coffee, & I didn't think to inspect the cup i have been given, but partly through the cup, noticed it was dirty on the outside, then looked in the cup & there was garbage, sugar wrappers, & such floating in it. We were told that they don't serve butter for anything like pancakes, French toast, or toast, so cheap, your only option is plastic, which is what margarine is made of. The food wasn't good, wasn't cooked properly. We almost walked out at the dirty coffee cup incident, but are food came, & we tried it. Then as we were finishing up, my bf noticed something floating in his coffee, some kind of crumbs, & we're both just absolutely disgusted that we just consumed food at the place, which btw, didn't even offer to comp anything, the least they could've done was take the coffee off the bill, but nothing. Absolutely...

We came here on a Sunday morning to use the laundromat to wash our own bedding we brought after staying in the worst Hotel I've ever been in (USA inn/Budget Inn/Royal extended stay Alcoa). I was pleasantly surprised to see the pub next store that had the football games (will definitely be back to check it out) and an arcade as well. When not in a rush I will definitely be back to show my little one what an arcade is for the first time ;)

Besides my mom being approached and offered a "smoke hook up", the laundromat wasn't too bad either 🤣.

It's not that bad. Plenty of stores even discount stores like United grocery outlet, Goodwill, pawn shop and more. They aren't the best, but they work. There is also a restaurant. It's a small town type ma and Pa one with great food. Plenty of room for parking and stays pretty clean. It's worth going to if you just want to waist some time and browse in the different stores. Plus they have a yearly arts and crafts sale there once a year. A lot of tallented artist. I always make it a point to go to big lots when I visit here to top...
