Escape Room Alexandria — Attraction in Alexandria

We had an absolute blast at Escape Room Alexandria playing their newest room, You're a Mean One! From the moment we stepped inside, we were fully immersed in the Grinch’s lair, tasked with helping the people of Whoville reclaim their stolen gifts. The attention to detail in the decor, props, and puzzles made us feel like we were inside the story itself!

The challenge level was spot-on—moderately difficult but incredibly fun, keeping us engaged and working together the entire time. Communication and teamwork were key, and every member of our group was able to contribute as we cracked codes, solved puzzles, and (with 9 minutes to spare!) saved Whoville!

A huge shoutout to the game masters, who were fantastic—helpful when we needed clues and super welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. There were also a few surprises along the way... but no spoilers here!

Even though it’s holiday-themed, this escape room is a must-play any time of year—think Christmas in July! Whether you're looking for a fun group outing, a unique team-building experience, or just a nostalgic adventure, You're a Mean One is a 10/10....

My family had at least 15 minutes left when we realized there was a malfunction. We tried telling the worker that we already got the clue a while ago but nothing was happening. She gave us the same hint twice but we kept saying we already got it, saying the answer outloud, pointing to signs, saying "we already did it!" then with a few minutes left, the next part happened finally. We probably wasted 15-20 minutes and weren't able to finish due to the malfunction. They had another puzzle so I they couldn't add on more time. My whole family walked away really disappointed with our first escape room experience unfortunately....

Our family loves Escape Rooms and has played them in many different states across the nation. The Escape Room of Alexandria is BY FAR one of the best game rooms we’ve played! The ingenuity of each game, the creativity of each room and the enthusiasm of every staff member will keep myself, my family and our friends (all those that participate with us in the game) coming back again and again!
