I'm really disappointed of their decision to charge scalper prices for Pokemon product.

I asked to be put on a preorder list for the super premium Prismatic Evolutions bundle. MSRP $89.99. I was told it was a long list and I'd be notified if they got one in and said that they'd go down the list as they were able to fill it.

I got a call 30 minutes ago saying one was available and asked if I wanted it. I was ecstatic and said yes until I was informed it would be $220. Almost a 150% markup.

I understand supply and demand. And I'd have been more than happy to pay a bit more given the desire. I'd have instantly said yes to even upwards of $150. But for a retail store to try to charge this obscene of a price is extremely disappointing.

I had pre-ordered from them in the past. Bought various products from them in the past. I know it was more expensive than other stores, but it was reasonable and the area is expensive. I don't know if I'll be buying anything there...

This store is great for Magic. The Gathering (MTG) - good product selection and community for playing; plus the staff have always been pleasant. However; I attended my first official MTG pre-release event last night for the Final Fantasy set and was completely unaware you were awarded packs for wins. Grinded out two wins on the night but never claimed the packs. Now - it shouldn't be hard to know that a winner didn't claim their packs because the amount of people allowed to play is limited and only so many people CAN win (I'm sure they set the prize packs aside prior to the event and therefore should know when there are leftovers that they are unclaimed prizes). So I called within 24 hrs of the event ending in hopes I could still claim my prize packs, but was told no. I don't know - just not sitting right with me since I earned those packs and it was never well broadcasted at the event. Feels like I got stiffed!

They carry a full range of D&D, Warhammer 40K, Age of Sigmar, Saga, X-Wing, Magic, Pokémon, Flames of War, Team Yankee, Bolt Action, other Warlord games, terrain, paints, and many other miniature and board games. This spacious store provides numerous tables to play games, and offers online table reservations and free WiFi. The staff are friendly and helpful, but will also let you shop quietly if you choose. They even special order upon request, and for a 10% discount if you pay in advance.
