IF I could give this specific store a ZERO I would ! I called this store, throughout the day, for more than two days ! Not once did anybody pick up the phone ! 100% Ridiculous ! I will be sending a formal complaint to Corporate. Not to mention the website, also 200% Ridiculous ! Try it yourself, either it's outdated or not kept up, at all ! If you find a game you want to purchase, put it in your cart, and request to pick it up at a store near you, it tells you if you can pick it up and shows the item in RED, in your cart. When you go to finish the payment process, it shows you you can't go pick it up the same day. Instead it shows your purchase, even if you do the online purchase in the morning, it still states to pick it up the following day ? Makes no sense, to add to the confusion and frustration, If you click on another store it shows a game or whatever you want to purchase, as "in stock" but when you go to finalize the order the car is EMPTY ! ? This store and Arcadia location, 400 S Baldwin Avenue #758-L (Westfield Santa Anita Mall) don't answer their phones, might as well remove the phones ! I went to the store Santa Anita Westfield Mall - Arcadia today, there were numerous employees standing around, looking at customers inside the store, (as they did with me, No greeting, No offer of assistance) ? I counted atleast six employees inside the store but they couldn't answer the Damn phone for two days ! ??? To make matters worse and add additional confusion : THIS STORE SHOWED (ON LINE) THEY DIDNT HAVE THE GAME I WAS TRYING TO PURCHASE AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR MY SON IN STOCK ? IT SHOWED IN STOCK ST THE ALHAMBRA LOCATION ? I was at the mall making other Christmas gift purchases and decided to check what games were in the store. Read moreI pre-order a game and paid it in full. That was my son's birthday money this was in August, they never called me to let me know to pick up the game. So I went to the store last Sunday October 16th 2016 with my ticket and noticed that they order the wrong game, and cashier just put in their system $25, we paid both with a gift card and cash. The cashier never showed any concern or a solution for the mistake she made. I told her that I need to talk to the manager. She said that she will be Monday from 6:00-7:00pm I went to the store I got there at 5:58pm and waited till 6:25pm she never arrived. I got to the store today with my son and wife, the manager was there, she could do nothing about it. Because the cashier only registered $25 instead of the $65.35 so frustrating and had to wait one hour to get nothing but the $25 alone not our cash. I told the manager to check the video footage at first she said that she does not have it because it was to two months ago, after and hour of waiting she said that she can check the footage but if we are end up wrong she won't do anything about it. Practically she called me and my family liars. The manager offered to gave us only 10%discount so we have to paid the rest of the money which is not fair because we paid it in full. We end up taking the $25 gift card back and left, this was a very bad experience because was all of our son's birthday money. If you go please always check your receipt there are sadly dishonest people...
Read moreI love this Gamestop. It was my first time in this store and I had called earlier to place a hold on a copy of Alan Wake Remastered which is my husband's favorite game. When we got there around 8pm-ish, the 2 team members behind the counter were absolutely friendly and made me feel very welcomes. They asked me what I needed help with and I told them I was here for the game and I whispered I wanted to surprise my husband with it and the male team member (I feel bad I didn't get his name) immediately stated whispering and we had a nice conversation about how I finally scored a PS5 for my husband after 10 months of trying and he was empathetic to my situation. I told him how I loved Disney and he immediately showed me to the Disney Funko Section and showed me the Donald 65th anniversary edition on the matterhorn bobsled and I bought it because I was missing that Funko. The female team member was amazing too and she helped me with paying with my digital giftcard and my $5 off code for being a pro member. The male team member will looking up future disney funkos for me and I appreciate his effort to help me out. He even treated my husband like another customer in front of me to help "pretend" he wasn't with me haha I really enjoyed my experience at this store and I will be back for sure when I'm ready to buy more games. These 2 team members need a raise because their customer service skills...
