EDIT: As of December 28, 2022… The Jolly Spaghetti sauce tasted different because of the ground meat. It is more of a 🤮 than a 😍. Originally as far as I can remember, Jolly Spaghetti sauce is only either hotdog/sausage, some variation of luncheon meat, or both but never ground meat.
To the management…please don’t put ground meat into the Jolly Spaghetti sauce.
Dinged 1 star💫 on the updated review. ———————————
My reviews are usually on my Yelp account but what the heck.
Parking is generous. Convenient location.
Every time I come by there seems to be few patrons compared to other times when I just pass by going to my workplace. I guess I am just lucky evry time that I do not need to wait for a long time. :p
The orders that I make and received are all correct. Two reasons why I think some orders can get wrong: firstly, customers are not checking that LCD in front of them that shows what are being entered; secondly, the order counter are near the cooking equipments (plus the chatter at the dining hall and order area) are just loud.
But that is expected since you have a small area with glass walls. And that type of area tends to produce louder sounds compared to bigger area with glass walls but with same number of people speaking together at the aame time.
Staff are friendly. Food tastes the same as the other locations.
One of the best things about this location are the reusable food containers for dine-out/to-go on some orders. Other locations always uses cartons even for dine-out/to-go orders. I get to reuse the containers.
Dining hall is very clean during the times of my visits.
But it is missing the mascot statue... me sad panda. I guess mascot statue will take a big space out of that already small area. But it is understandable that a mascot statue is not outside. Otherwise, it will surely be vandalized with how Alhambra has been degrading because of the effects of LA County DA's (and...
Read moreWe are visiting the area from out of town and our kids wanted to try Jolllibee as they’ve seen it on social media and we don’t have them where we live.
I hate leaving bad reviews, but this was just an all around below average experience. I’m probably being nice by rounding up to 2 stars as 1.5 is more accurate. I ordered our food ahead of time on the website and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. We showed up about 18 minutes later. Our order wasn’t ready. I was told that they were waiting on the chicken strips and it would be another 15 minutes or so. It looked like they had already started assembling our order, so I specifically asked if the rest of the food would be hot/fresh as the chicken strips weren’t ready and was assured it would be.
After waiting about 20 more minutes, our food was ready. No real apologies from the staff about the long wait, no offer to throw in a free dessert, nothing like that. And the manager was standing nearby.
Still, I was hopeful that the food would be delicious. Especially when I paid $60 for 10 pieces of fried chicken, 9 chicken tenders, 2 small fries, and mash potatoes. Honestly, I have no idea what the hype is all about. The food was just ok. I mean, the fried chicken and mash potatoes at the local deli of your neighborhood grocery store (Ralph’s, Safeway, Kroger, whatever, you name the place) is probably better and 1/3 of the price. And, guess what- the items that were ready when I got there were cold/somewhat stale by the time the rest of the food was ready.
Again, it’s hard for me to be negative as I’m just not a negative person by nature, but if you’re visiting this area and are thinking about trying this place, I’d say look elsewhere. Try to find a Korean Fried Chicken place if you can. Or just hit the...
Read moreSince day one this store has not been properly managed. Employees do not know their tasks, orders completed takes about 20-30 minutes after you wait 15 minutes in line. Today 05/29/2022 at around 6:25 I get there, my order is placed at 6:38; I dont get my order until 7:06, in the time I was there I witnessed them close the dining room, denying customers entry making them leave (staff “leaders” DANIEL and VINCENT). When the main cashier asked why do we have the dining room close they joked and said do you think you can handle it? I counted 12 employees. TWELVE EMPLOYEES WITH 4 OF THOSE BEING STAFF LEADERS and you cant run a store efficiently enough to where you can handle customers eating inside, buying inside like how are supposed to able to so you close the dining 2 hours early?!?!?!?UNACCEPTABLE. Corporate needs call a meeting and train everyone properly. That store is ran so sorry and im not speaking off just this experience, I like the spicy friend chicken so I frequent often; probably 10 times since opening, and only once have I not walked out shaking my head because of how unorganized the staff is. Absolutely terrible. PS sometimes the chicken is rubbery and bloody at the bone so I throw it away so I wont get sick, This Jollibee location is more miss than a hit. ALSO the bags, a big bucket in a little plastic bag? Doesnt make sense. Moral of the story EVERYONE needs to be trained at...
