Buyer Beware! I purchased furniture on June 29, 2024 from Bob Mills the sales guy swore this company stands behind their products sold and you only get the best! Well that was a lie and I dealt with a nightmare and still dealing with. They delivered my sectional I purchased on July 9, 2024 after inspecting the furniture, I was in touch with the company to let them know that I had received furniture that was ripped, stained and poorly manufactured in areas they assured me that they would get new furniture out to us to replace this set. In August 13th the new second set was delivered and upon inspection of this set not only did the delivery guys notice so did we that they sent us two different styles of furniture which were almost the same color but different textures. I reached out to Bob Mills and spoke with the manager Robert who was very rude basically saying we were lying and said they would never send two kinds of furniture. He argued with me & my husband back & fourth. I took many pictures and sent them and he said it all looked the same to him. Still calling me a liar at this point I sent pictures of all the furniture tags which don’t lie! After reaching out to him numerous times Robert finally told us they would re send the correct pieces and pick up the ones that didn’t match, which was more than half of the set. At this point, we are so tired of the back & fourth and no responses and the picking up and sending back and not knowing what we’re going to get next that we told them that we just wanted them to pick up the furniture and give us a full refund. You get tired at some point of being called a liar and being ignored! Robert also stated they could pick up the furniture, but we were still going to be charged the $500 delivery fee but not the restocking which at this point it was not our fault that they couldn’t get the order correct or furniture that wasn’t damaged to us. I also argued with him that I was not going to pay a $500 delivery fee For something that was out of our control. I had also purchased a side table for $$400. After waiting about a week or two to hear back from Robert I called and messaged him and still no answer and mind you he is the manager who wouldn’t ever reach back out to me so here I am not knowing if I’m getting my money back or what is going on. He finally reached out to me after me calling and leaving numerous messages and told me that they would not charge the $500 delivery fee and would pick up all the furniture, but I needed to continue to pay on the furniture until they came to pick it up. He also asked if I wanted to keep the table I would just have to pay for it and they wouldn’t charge delivery on it so I decided to keep the table since nothing was wrong with it. I kept calling and leaving voicemails for the Robert (manager) to get back with me and let me know what my balance due was going to be so that I could pay the table off and the account could be closed. He never got back to me. I finally decided to stop in the store and figure out what I owed on the table and the girl at the counter said she could help me figure out the balance and I paid it off in full. The furniture was still showing that I owed on it and they had already picked it up on September 10th 2024 and today is October 13th I went to check the Bob Mills card to see if they had zeroed out the balance and itt is still showing a balance of $57 when they were supposed to credit the account in full after I paid the table off. So now I am showing that I have a balance due of $57 which should be a zero balance. I would like that balance to be taken off I have paid what I owed and don’t need my credit compromised...

After numerous calls to Bob Mills and also being told the parts were ordered the truth finally came out after more than a year of calls. The maker of the set we bought had gone out of business and the parts were never ordered and that was "red flag #1" for me. In 2012 and Bob Mills did give us a refund after admitting they were at fault. We purchased another set of furniture at Bob Mills and paid the difference for the upgraded leather set. In late 2015 our "leather" furniture set started "pealing" at the seams on both the love seat and couch. I go to Bob Mills and ask them if this has been a problem in the past with these particular furniture sets. I was told, sorry but you didn't get the extended warranty on the second set and it's out of manufacturer warranty. Ok, yes it is but 2 sets of failed furniture in 5 years? I recently called back in to Bob Mills and asked who the manufacturer of my current furniture is so I can give them a call to see if there is anything they might be able to do. Bob Mills tells me that they no longer carry that line of furniture anymore. My response to them was, No kidding and I know why too. Red flag #2. And then I'm told the leather furniture we bought is "bonded leather" and the pealing I'm seeing is a vinyl covering bonded to the leather. I spent a very large amount of money in your store on the Sunday before Memorial Day, approximately $10,000.
So far I am very happy with my furniture, I have no issues with it at all, it is great. I am however EXTREMELY disappointed with the two mattress pads I purchased from you to protect my new investments. I spent approximately $532 on two supposedly ‘cooling’ queen mattress pads which are HORRIBLE. Not only are they NOT cooling, they make it impossible for sheets to stay on the bed properly. As I tend to sleep on the hot side, a cooling mattress pad was very appealing and your salesperson pushed it hard as a ‘great, cooling addition’ for the bed. So despite the ridiculous price, I took the bait. I have never felt so screwed out of a large amount of money as I do now after being duped into buying these crappy mattress pads that are unusable and if anything are more ‘thermal’ than cooling.
My other issue is what you charged me for delivery. I feel it was excessive and a bit unreasonable. The guys did a great job, no complaints with them at all. However when a customer spends such a large amount of money the delivery should be included. Just my opinion from a customer’s point of view.
So while I really like my furniture I feel screwed out of $532 and gouged on the delivery charge so I don’t think I’ll be back and when family and friends ask me about my new furniture I’ll tell them what I just told...
