Mahoney Event Center — Attraction in Ambler

We had the lucky opportunity to book this space way back before it was completely finished renovations and watch it come to life. I knew it was going to be great but it was very exciting to see just how much everything came together. The interior design is so clean, classic and fashionable while also versatile for whatever your vibe is. The sound system and lights are top notch. Michele (the owner) is beyond helpful and willing to go above beyond whatever your wants and needs are. Customer service was nowhere near this level at other venues we looked at before Mahoney and one of the biggest reasons this space stood out. Working with her really made the experience, it's clear how much she truly cares and loves this gig. We had our wedding reception here, wanting our event to be in the heart of Ambler while also wanting to be able to customize every part of our day to our specific style and personality. I'm so thankful we chose this venue as it ended up being the best match for us, ticking off all our boxes and the rest of the planning experience went much smoother having the right reception space. My husband and I hosted a Super Bowl LIX watch party at the Mahoney Event Center, and it couldn't have been more perfect! Michele and her incredible team went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and made the night truly special for us. The venue's versatility was impressive, with a choice of rectangular tables, round tables, and tall cocktail tables. We were able to mix and match them to create the ideal setup for our event. The ambient down lighting allowed us to bathe the room in Eagles green, setting the perfect atmosphere. The enormous projection screen provided an amazingly clear picture, and the surround sound system brought the game to life. The bar setup was fantastic, with spacious refrigerated bins that kept all our beverages cool, and the kitchen access made it easy to keep our catering trays warm for seamless food service. My family used this space for my 56th birthday party and my daughter’s baby shower. Both experiences were superb. The space is kept immaculate and the amenities are everything that you need for your perfect party. The kitchen is spacious with ample refrigerator space and the food warmers were very convenient. The owner, Michelle is very friendly and helpful. She is amazing to work with. She gave us different options and time so we could set up after the previous event.
