Midwest Mattress — Attraction in Ames

Today I decided I was gonna make the move and get a new bed. I spent all morning calling mattress stores. I live in a rural community and not wanting to brave the heat and humidity due to my illness. So I called 5 stores with Midwest being the last store to call within a 100 mile radius of my home. I was very fortunate that Loran answered the phone at Midwest. She was so patient, helpful, and her courtesy was impeccable. She sent me links for the internet so I could look at the availability of several different options and see the actual mattresses. When I was done looking I called back and Ace answered the phone this time. He continued to help me because Loran was with another customer. To my pleasure Ace was just as helpful, patient and kind. These two people are a huge asset to this company and the main reason I chose Midwest to make my purchase. On top of the fantastic Customer Service... I recieved excellent prices and best of all .... I recieved the help I needed to choose what I was wanting to buy. You can't beat a 15 year warranty or the 1 year comfort trade. What a nice thing to have. If I dont like the mattress for any reason I have up to a year to trade for another. I love that !!! Loran and Ace were very knowledgable and accommodating with every product and warranties. Im having it delivered..set up and they take the old with them ! I cant wait for my new bed ! Thankyou Midwest for making this expierence happen with such ease and excitement ! I feel totally comfortable buying this bed over the phone, sight unseen or going in the store to lay on it first. Knowing I have the 1 year Comfort Care made that very easy to do. I went into Midwest Mattress after looking online and visiting a few places to find a new mattress. I had a nice memory foam mattress, but about a month ago, my ex took it, and I had to use my old bed that had been in storage for the past year. Unfortunately, that bed was no longer comfortable. I've been suffering from back pain, and today I decided I couldn’t keep waking up in pain every night.

When I arrived at the store, I was immediately greeted by Ace, who asked about what we were looking for, our price range, and so on. He mentioned a current promotion that could help with the cost, as I was on a budget. He introduced me to Bed Gear, a newer mattress brand, and he clearly knew a lot about the company and seemed to genuinely like their products.

We spent about 30 minutes testing out different beds, and Ace encouraged us to take our time. After exploring various options, I found the mattress that felt right for me. I was able to purchase it and organize for same-day pickup at the warehouse. While they offered free delivery within two days, I wanted the new bed as soon as possible.

Ace was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable, and he did a great job explaining each bed. I managed to complete my purchase and everything was wrapped up in about an hour. He was genuinely caring and attentive to our needs. I definitely recommend Ace and Midwest Mattress because I had a great experience, and I truly love my new mattress! We were looking for a new mattress to replace an old, springy one, and did some research before we went to buy our new set. We are so glad we decided to go with Midwest Matress in Ames! First, we walked in and knew exactly what we wanted. When you go mattress shopping you expect to be told to buy the most expensive mattress. Josh, the store manager, asked us what we wanted and pointed us straight to the best-selling firm mattress in the store. Once he saw we liked it (and we REALLY liked the price), that was it. We didn't need to go anywhere else. He also had us lay on the more expensive firm mattress in the store, but still recommended the other mattress knowing that we were on a budget.

We got a Restonic firm mattress and base for an unbelievable price, and we didn't need to haggle to get it. Delivery and set up (which took less than 5 minutes!) was free, and the old set was hauled off at no charge. I recommend getting the mattress protector from them, as it's cheaper than purchasing it directly from the vendor.

I highly recommend this store to any student or other person who is looking for a good quality mattress for the right price. You can't beat less than $400 for a queen mattress set that is high quality. Plus, you won't be disappointed with the service. Happy...
