I've been going to the same stereo guy for decades. I came down for Thanksgiving weekend and wanted to make some changes to my system. Low and behold my normal stereo guy wasn't there anymore. So I tried to give the new guy a shot. Long story short it didn't work so I began my hunt to find a new place. I made some phone calls and couldn't even get past the rudeness over the phone. I finally went to the Alpine website to find an authorized dealer and this is where my review for Car Stereo Warehouse and Santiago begins. I can be a spaz and semi difficult to work with because I have so many ideas and let's face it....my name is "Karen". Santiago listened to every word and offered me solutions. The other places said what I wanted "was not possible". Santiago went above and beyond addressing my list of wants and concerns. This is a BIG list due to me having my own ideas and not wanting ANYthing that is "normal". Santiago made sure I was ok with leaving my vehicle over night so they didn't have to rush. They parked my vehicle inside so it was safe and sound. The crew at Car Stereo Warehouse removed the horrible previous owner equipment and rats nest wiring and started my install fresh and clean. I can't tell you how happy I was picking up my 1989 4Runner. Everything I wanted was done to perfection and is ready for the next stages I plan on doing in the future. Car Stereo Warehouse had my truck Friday and Saturday. For Sunday a friend and I had planned on fixing a botched rock light install that a friend of mine attempted to do. We headed off to the auto parts store and quickly realized that the job was too much for us because once again I am a spaz and want things that aren't always "normal". We called Santiago and he said bring it down and show me what you are trying to do. Well long story short, I'm writing this review while they are finishing up my second install in the same weekend.
If you are looking for a shop that can help you accomplish your car audio visions give Santiago a call. I mean let's face it...if he can make a "Karen" happy, you know you are in good hands.

Read moreWORST experience ever!!!! They not only did a terrible job on my tint the guy (one of the owners, I think) was a complete dushbag!!
There ended up being a lot of little air bubbles in the tint almost every where some were lint pieces, I took it back and he started to tell me its impossible to get every air bubble out, which is absolutely ridiculous that would mean that every car with tint has air bubbles in the tint....(FAIL!!!) I have been getting tint on my cars for years, my friends have tint...they don't have air bubbles never had such a bad experience ever.
Places I have gone usually did a perfect job or if there was one bubble they would fix it... not here... it was like pulling teeth to get them to redo it... the owner carried on like a little child making a big stink with his employees and bringing it into the garage with the florescent lighting...which makes it harder to see the air bubbles... you can see them better out in the sun.
so I finally said to him if this is your work and you put your seal of approval on it I will leave... he started yelling at me said no no no seal here...what do you want me to do replace it? I said yes ...so he said ok and stormed off..so im waiting around and the guy is nowhere to be found he didn't even tell me how long. So after awhile I ask a guy at the counter how long it will be he said hold on let me check. He comes back about 10 mins later and says it will take a couple of hours and that they will call me when its done.
they finally call me and tell me my car is done about 3 hrs later (this is on top of the 2.5 hours I waited at the shop for the first go round...good thing I didn't wait around for it. I finally get down there and its dark out of course and I try to see but in the dark I couldn't tell it actually looked good...UNTIL the next morning that is... this son of beaches had huge air bubbles on the back window it looked like a 3 year old put it on, the fu#$% it up on purpose ... what abunch of scum bags!!!
AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!
I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND EVERY TIME SOME ONE ASKS ME WHERE TO GET TINT I TELL THEM NOT TO GO HERE...EVER!!!
I would have giving it minus 2 stars but there is not...

It’s pricey at Best Buy for an alarm system and installation. Shipped, I would have to wait a while. I really wanted to get my kids alarm since she was going somewhere. I called Romey and he assured me that he was better and cheaper than Best Buy. I made an appointment with Romey and showed up to it. It took him about a half an hour to look at my car. He called me and took me back and said that YES I do need a new alarm system because it was garbage and that I need to fix my door because the lock was broken. He said he could fix the door if I wanted, but the part would cost up to $1000 plus instal. I asked him if he could install the alarm system with a broken door. He said yes. Realizing I couldn’t afford it I said I needed to just buy the alarm now and have a friend look at the door to perhaps find a cheaper way. He brought the box with the alarm system from the garage to the counter with the box open. He closed it and refunded the money for labor. My friend fixed it with a $70 part in 20 min. I called, asked the owner if I could return the alarm without the receipt he was very kind and said . Fast forward to today… I took the car to Best Buy to get some bulbs installed in the dash since they had broken them installing something else unrelated. The tech asked me about my alarm. I told him that I had bought the alarm system and I was putting off installation. He asked for 15 minutes. He programmed, connected and fiddled and the alarm started working. So, Romey lied and said that it was trash, he lied and said it would cost up to $1000 for the “factory” door part and then when I tried to take the car alarm back. He told me he changed his mind, that it had been tampered with. He was the last to handled it when he took it into his garage to install it. And then brought it back to me opened. He’s a liar...
