Andover Cinema — Attraction in Andover

I read through all the bad reviews here and I really don't understand it. It's like I have been going to a totally different theater then they have been. I really only go to the theater a few times a year, but the 10-12 times I have gone here, it's been a great experience. If anything, it has gotten better in the past year and I really like their popcorn now. Prices are fairly decent and I have never once had an issue with the sound/video quality. If you look at the bad reviews, most seem to be 2+ years old and I think this place must have really stepped it up since then.

Going to the movies can be expensive, but here the value is great and its a nice treat! The theaters and restrooms are clean, staff are nice and the seats are comfortable. They don't charge premium prices for luxury seats. All seats are reclining and heated, so freezing at the theater isn't an issue anymore. It's better than watching a movie from home. Sound and picture quality have always been good. Matenee seats are around $8 and Tuesdays they run a $5 special. There is online reserved seating too, so you can plan your movie ahead of time and get a good seat. I recall that once a movie I attended had an issue which got resolved, but because we waited a few minutes the manager gave us comp tickets. Great...

I've never had a bad experience at Andover Cinema. I have seen several dozen movies here since 2002. Prices have always been cheaper than Showplace 16 and other nearby theaters. Andover Cinema was remodeled earlier this year (2013). The new lobby layout is great... very open and accommodating. Love the new reclining seats! We saw Iron Man 3 after the remodel and the new audio enhancements were very sharp and crisp without being overbearing. Friendly service as always at the ticket booth and concession stands.
