I would really like to write a good review about this place but this experience really just ruined every good review I had about Fuzed. Three years ago I booked an appointment at the state fair to get bracelets with my best friend. Everything went perfectly smooth, a seamless process and had a really good time. Really good interactions with the ladies helping us. I live out of town so I don’t get to the Des Moines area often and with my work schedule, it’s hard for me to get places before they close. I had my bracelet break off when I was on vacation and I came to Ankeny on a Sunday and got it put back on. The lady wasn’t necessarily mean, but she wasn’t the friendliest and I brushed it off as she repaired my bracelet. It’s obvious as I write this review a month after it broke yet again and That she did not do a good job. I made time out of my day to go a Thursday after work and try to get there before they close at seven, which I got there at 5:25 and the door was locked, but the lights were on. I tried calling the phone number attached to the website and I waited outside for 20 minutes before giving up and all I wanted was my bracelet re-repaired. There were no signs on the doors or windows saying a potential lunch/break was had nor was there any signs saying due to the state fair being this week, our location is closed. There were no advertisements on the website saying that the storefront would be closed either. Just an overall very...
Read moreVery disappointed. I had my bachelorette weekend and INSISTED we get permanent jewelry after I fell in love with my first one I got elsewhere. The workers seemed like they wanted nothing to do with us. They seemed annoyed and irritated when we walked in, even though we had an appointment. They didn't describe the process, material, add ons, warranty, nothing. I found out later on the sight that you can add charms, get a necklace, etc. My group didn't even feel comfortable going up and looking at the options in front of these two ladies and we all agreed it was a terrible experience. I, the bride, paid $80 for an anklet that looks cheap and thin. Not to mention, I DO NOT recommend getting the heart chain, as it stabs me all day, another thing the "jewelers" should warn about. This bothers me because I will never have a bach weekend again and they made zero effort to make us feel welcome or special, even through we had our sashes on. I wasn't going to write a review, but it really bothered me how much these workers...
Read moreWe did 2 different events with Fuzed Jewelry - the first we had Erin and Chasera and the 2nd one was just Erin. Both events were amazing! The women at our event were very impressed with the selection of jewelry and the great personalities of Erin and Chasera! They really helped leave a lasting and fun impression. I really appreciated how hard they worked to get through everyone who wanted permanent jewelry and offering the option of a clasp for those who could not commit (me, it was me would could not commit to permanent jewelry). Thank you ladies for your hard work! We will definitely have you back...
