P2 Parking Taubman Center U of M Medical Center — Attraction in Ann Arbor

The parking here is horrible. I took a friend here for surgery yesterday and the machine on the left would not give me a ticket., it said “closed” so I had to back up in busy traffic and go to other ticket machine The parking lot was near full and took me 20 minutes to find a spot. Good thing I dropped my friend off or she would have been late. Why are they still charging for parking. They are a Government funded, in more ways than one facility and no one is there getting their hair done. The people that come here are sick and getting treatment of one type or another. $3.00 while not a lot is an added stressor to many patients that are battling life or death diseases and could use that money for something else. I know you get free parking if you are there for cancer treatment so why not offer that to the rest of the patients and their families. The parking is horrible and it should be free, nobody is here for fun...

Easy to get in and out of. The elevator getting into U of M from here can take ya to the wrong floor so i just take the stairs. Seems like no matter how long I stay it’s usually about $3 bucks for parking and it’s covered so no rain or snow to deal with. Very close to...
