Updating my review from a few years ago based on a recent experience that resulted in me never wanting to return. I bought a dog sling for my new puppy. I got home and tried it, it was way to big and bulky so I folded it and put it neatly back in the box. I attempted to return it about three weeks later (I work late and they close at 7 so not always easy for me to get there during business hours) and they told me they have a TWO WEEK RETURN POLICY:( I can understand if it were a perishable item but it was in the box and basically brand new, wouldn't even offer store credit. Aaaand the part that really got me! The clerk said that they could take it off my hands if I didn't want it (assuming so they could resell it!) I started to go to Wags and whiskers when they were in saline. That was many years ago and I have not stopped going to them when I came to Ann Arbor a couple of times I even went to Chelsea and bought some supplies. They are very, very, very helpful. If you have a problem example our dog had diabetes a couple of dogs we had had stomach problems. They would take your time and explain all the different products that were good for the pets and they didn’t concentrate on the higher dollar values either. I will continue going there. Wags to Whiskers is several levels above any pet supply store I’ve ever been to, even boutique stores! I’ve been shopping at the newer, more spacious location since moving to the west side and adopting a senior cat with special diet needs. Not only will you find “best in class” foods reasonably priced, the real gems here are the staff. The staff are tremendously helpful and friendly, and quite knowledgeable about pet food and their products. I’m a cat-caretaker novice, I really appreciate their attention, experience, and advice.
