Never-NEVER- buy an appliance from Costco and think the delivery will ever be right if you’re living in the NC Raleigh/Durham area. I had a horrible experience with my washer and dryer and today with a new gas oven. According to the receipt they were supposed to haul away the old oven. The oven was not hooked up and already pulled out so they could easily remove it. The two men that were delivering the new oven said that their manifest said no removal. I literally called Costco customer service yesterday to confirm that the old oven was to be taken and was told yes, it shows removal of old appliance. These two guys didn’t listen to what I said and said it wasn’t on their manifest so they weren’t taking it-period. I was already on the phone with Costco CS with a woman that didn’t have a clue. I actually had to tell her to call the delivery company and rectify the error. While I was on the phone the two men brought the new range into my house and dropped it in our hallway and started to leave. No unboxing, just a huge oven in my hallway so I cannot even get into my living room. They walked out of the house and were leaving so my husband ran outside to stop them because they wouldn’t wait for CS to fix this error. After fifteen minutes the woman came back- the delivery men had already left-and said the manifest says not to take the appliance away. I told her that my receipt says they were supposed to and it is not my fault that someone made an error and the error needed to be rectified. Ten minutes later she returned and said the company would send the men back sometime today. No time, they were just supposed to return. I asked what happens if they don’t come back and she said it was basically my issue and to call them back tomorrow. Luckily my husband was able to move the old oven into the middle of kitchen and get the new oven out of the hallway. We are elderly and this was horrible for us, an old man having to move around large heavy appliances is unacceptable when he was never supposed to. No one should ever buy large appliances from Costco. Period. Go...

Read moreToday I bought LG XBOOM Go XG50C wireless portable speaker at Apex Costco. While shopping at speakers section, I saw this LG speaker on $30 discount price, so got interested and pickup the speaker card(the speaker boxs will be inside Costco storage, we just need to pay the bill and show the bill receipt and speaker card to the Costco representative at the storage, so they will check and brings the speaker box from storage). So after paying the bill, I did approached the Costco representative and showed him the bill and speaker card. He went inside the storage and came back after 10 minutes and he did handover the speaker box to me and he told me that the bill is not showing exact details of the speaker name, so he took time to find the product details from the bill, but along with the bill I did handover the speaker card to him which clearly shows the product name, image, model etc. As I am with shopping cart full of groceries and Costco also closed at that time 6 pm, I came out without checking the contents of speaker box. After coming home before going to bed, thought to setup the speaker. While opening the box, I did observed some stains on the box and after opening the box, saw the speaker with dust and stains on it, speaker also without protection plastic cover and that cover is under the speaker. It seems the speaker is a used one and it’s a open box, as there is no seal on the speaker box also.After cleaning the dust on the speaker, tried to check the charging port and charger, but there is no charging cable in the box, I just found two plastic covers nothing in it with seal opened. Finally I realized that I got cheated by Costco, they sold a used speaker with missing charging cable to me. Today I felt very sad for Costco doing this to me. Apex Costco is almost 10 miles away from my home and I need to drive back 10 miles to Costco just to return this used product which is a waste of valuable time...
