My worst cell phone buying experience!! I purchased phones for my spouse and I and they told us they are on back order, so it would take a week to get (every phone provider had them in stock, even amazon). When the day came when we were supposed to pick up our phones, we received a notification that it was delayed. A few days later I called the store, but then the call is rerouted to a call center. The call center is horrible! They have no idea what is going on, (they did not know where our phones were, when they would arrive, etc.). Even their supervisors are clueless! They said when our phones arrive at the store and we pick them up, to speak to a supervisor and they will give compensation for the delay. Almost a week late (2 weeks after we purchased them), they finally arrived at the store. When we went to pick them up, we asked to speak with a supervisor and told them our situation and how unhappy we were, and what the call center told us to do. The female supervisor said that we are supposed to deal with the call center and that the store has nothing to do with it and that she would have them call us, and that it does not take long for them to get a hold of us. She said an hour or less. Well, almost 3 months later and we never received a call! We went back to the store because we ended calling the call center and every single time we were finally able to speak to a supervisor and tell them our situation, the phone line just happened to "disconnect" (they would hang up on us). Ridiculous and unprofessional! The call center and the store supervisor just pointing the finger/blame on each other, not caring at all about the customer! We went back to the store and few days later and spoke with a supervisor about our situation and he said the only one that is able to do anything is the store manager, but she was off, so they took down all of my contact information and wrote notes down of my situation so they could give them to her. When I asked for the store managers name, they told me it is a female name Toni. When they described her, she is the same person we spoke with when we picked up the phones, and she did absolutely nothing! Well, almost 2 months have gone by, and we have not received any contact from the store manager Toni! I don't know how someone like her is a store manager, because her actions show that she is unprofessional and does not care...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered a product for curbside pickup while I was out running errands. I received the email notification that it was being pulled and I happened to be in the area so I pulled into the parking lot and waited for the confirmation for my order to be ready. I placed my order roughly two hours prior to this. Here's where it gets good: at this point I have been in the parking lot waiting about a half hour, 45 minutes tops. The store is about to close and someone comes out to pull in the curbside pickup signs, so I panic and decide to walk in with my girlfriend. We are greeted by a manager (I think his name is petey?). Super nice guy, I voice my concerns, he tells me no big deal! The store closes at 8 BUT curbside closes at 9. Either way he says: head over to a cashier and they'll get me taken care of! So I head over to the register and am greeted by (Jillian I think I'm not sure, got a little hazy on the details here but we will get to that). I explain that we were concerned about the order not being fulfilled so we came in, I give her my order number. Now for the TWIST: She informs me it is not yet ready and that she can do nothing about it, the she stops helping us to talk to a co-worker, coming back to us when she's done. Then she tell us what she can do: cancel the order, refund the money and we can buy our product again. For reference the product was very much NOT CHEAP. now THIS is my FAVORITE part: she says " it could take a couple days for the funds to return to your account" then she looks directly at my girlfriend and says "IF you have the funds to re purchase it, do you have the funds available?" At this point I am very much angry, but my girlfriend has a much cooler head and informs her that it is irrelevant if she has the funds, as she has a spending limit. Then our amazingly abrasive and rude cashier says: "well you could leave and wait, there's nothing I can do." Then I lost my cool. I asked her if she was implying I leave the store, wait in my car for another hour and HOPE it gets pulled before they close? "Yeah" she replied. So I very angrily asked her to cancel my order. My girlfriend ushers me to the door after asking if there's anything else she needs to cancel the order.
Long story short: -6 out of 10, would...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOK so let me tell you something about a "return to store after the date allowed to return" so during the Holidays the give you like 14 days return time frame & extended it 10 days more for the holidays, so actually it comes out to 24 days right? At least at the Best Buy here in the High Desert,Ca (both locations- Apple Valley & Victorville). So I had bought in December (3 days before Christmas) a Smart Alarm Clock for my Son the (Lenovo - Smart Clock (2nd Gen)Ā @ $69.99 Christmas sale price, originally @$89.99. If you ask me both prices are way too high for freaken "smart" alarm clocks, especially if so many people return because they are confusing getting them connected & going. So long story short, it didn't work with his IPhone, it just wasn't connecting, so I said, put it back together & I'll take it back. We'll I might have procrastinated a bit lol, but I took it back though. Now well aware that it was after the "24 days" literally 10 days after that, procrastination at its best lol. Hey life got busy, I forgot lol. Anyway, I knew we can get stored credit at least. Even open box, after the fact days passed the "return time frame" everything was in box still, brand new condition. I went to Best Buy in Victorville, Ca. I showed my receipt - explaining my situation & kindly asked for store credit. The cashier said well your 10 days past we can't do anything sorry. I said I know you guys can give store credit though at least, can u please call your store manager. He said the same thing (with a bad attitude mind you, like he owns the freaken store lol). I'm like ok, I hope you have a better day because I know if you wanted to be a nice er person you can give me store credit, but obviously you don't enjoy your job or having a real bad day. So I will go to Best Buy in Apple Valley, & I know they will give me store credit there. Sure enough they did! So don't listen to one store if they act like idiots, try another one, you can get store credit back. As long as it's under 2 months & brand new conditions all with original stuff & package. Or else...
